Just a quick note to say that since this years SDCC turned into such a bust for us, we have just signed for our own booth at NYCC !

We will have prototypes to show as well as some Con Exclusives to sell.

More news once we get a little closer.

I and many others would agree that Balrog is much more noticeable and memorable than Alex! I would Concider balrog to be closer to A list character than Alex CBG but that's my opinion!! I actually didnt order Alex and don't plan to, I think he's great but he isn't one if the sf characters I'm concerned with at moment! Maybe later down road!

Last year just browsing youtube videos of the con i came across a couple videos of the sub zero bust and klassic scorpion statue. Those videos was what literally got me into this hobby last year! The cons really do help gather new collectors. Eagerly looking forward to nycc now.

As the heavyweight boxing division is a little dire up these days. I would so like to see a fantasy match up between Mike Tyson Vs. Balrog. Muhammad Ali Vs. Balrog. Hell throw in Creed & Rocky Balboa in there too as opponents for the SF boxer.

Sideshow isnt displaying outside companies products anymore. Its only their own (and Hot Toys rents the other half of their booth). So even if we were still in a contract they wouldnt have displayed our items.

Having said that, Im not sure SDCC is the place for us anymore. All the small companies get overshadowed by the huge companies.

I think Id rather focus on NYCC and maybe one other.

He is in production and the samples are gorgeous. I figure late September or early October.

So we are considering auctioning off some of the prototypes/samples we are bringing to New York Comic Con.

Easier to do that than repack and send them back to California

It's cool that Jerry 's going to auction off some of the prototype pieces but sucks for us collectors that can't make the con. I'm sure everybody going to the NY con is going to to think it's a stupid idea but I think he should use eBay like sideshow does to give everyone a chance.

...but that doesn't help Jerry if he's trying to eliminate the hassle of transporting these pieces from NYCC.

The NYCC auction is a fantastic idea and will get a ton of exposure from all the folks attending the con.

Oh, I agree. It'd probably go for a small fortune. It's basically a hand made prototype. Crafted by the artists, rather than the factory.

(The factory did great on Sagat. Fingers crossed for Alex)

Kotobukiya sells off some of their display pieces and also auction it off only to comic con attendees so that they dont have to drive it back home. I wont be at nycc but im not gonna hate to the nycc attendees if Jerry decides to auction it off. A good thing to NYers. Good luck to the NYcc attendees n keep up the great work Jerry. You cant make everyone happy.

Great, thanks for the pics.

Everything looks great. A few things I noticed.

1) The Akuma 1:1 face doesn't seem to have the Stallone lips. Maybe the teaser was an old photo?

2) The Akuma/Gouken diorama looks SICK! But there is a problem.....

The right shoulder is sculpted too close to his hair. The beads don't seem to fit into that spot. Am I wrong?

3) Beastman looks awesome!

Lemon, I think we all appreciate the pictures, but honestly, they are pretty funky. I hope to see clearer, pics soon.

I can tell that the Goro looks to be the best statue PCS has ever done. That is one awesome sculpt. Even if I was not into MK, I would buy that in a heartbeat.

The Beastman I know is awesome, but I really can't get an accurate color measurement from that picture. It was the fuzziest of them all I think.
