Anyone know when this game is scheduled for release??

September.....Oh I can't wait. I hope that when you beat the game this time and replay it that you can pick what characters you want from the get go, and not have to wait to unlock them....I can't wait I have played the original one through 12 times. That's more than I have played any non fighting game: IE Street Fighter type game.

The first one was not just one player. More characters, the Brotherhood is at your command, I think online but who cares about that, more non playable characters.

So far Magneto and Juggs are the only Brotherhood confirmed, but they say there is going to be around 8 of them.

The only comic book character I know of is Zealot of Wildcats. As for Marvel...I do not recall any character with that Monkier.

meh, I thought hulk was repetative and uneccesarily hard. I'm not a fan of the "free roaming" style of games anyway. It could have been better (in my opinion).

Here is a list of characters for the game. Deadpool can be played once you beat the game. Prof X can be played once you complete all of the Danger room missions. Ironman can be played once you collect all of the Ironman pieces in the game.

Hey Marvelboi, Sacrlet witch will be playable from the beginning. I'm getting this hopefully today as well.
What version is everyone getting? I'll be getting the PC version. Anyone want to play online?

I had lots of time to play today too. Weds I'm going to the Into the Blue premier, and Thursday my sister is getting married in Vegas. Then Tuesday I'm going to Hawaii the game will be 3 weeks old before I get to spend any quality time with it.

I love me some Scarlet Witch, I love to burn everything with my Hex bolts. I used all 4 females and when you do that it screams out Femme Fatal and you get an extra 5% of health. Going to Vegas this morning so no more for me.

I just saved the Beast. I've been playing for about 6 hours today. I like how you can buy level ups this time around. I also like how you can buy a reshuffling, meaning once you get better power ups you can de-power the crappy ones and re-use the levels.

Wolverine can you help me? I got this game today and I'm already stuck. In the Savage Land, there's a mission where you have to collect 4 skulls. I'm stuck with the skull on that high pillar. I tried Toad, Nightcrawler etc. tried looking in the area around but nothing came up :( Can you tell me what I have to do, to get the skull?

Still in act 2. If you play this online, you can do an online danger room mission and get something for Colossus that gives you +695 to defense! I use him and I haven't used a health potion for a long while.
I want to get to act 3 because then you get the AoA outfits and I want to be able to use it on Sunfire.

Well, I found out what the max for a stat is, SPOILER:
I kept putting points in the strength on Juggernaut and it maxed out at 250, now he is just going to work on other things, I guess.

Got this game today and TBH....not that impressed. It's the same as the first just with Magneto & the rest of the villains at your disposal. Well, I will see how long it will take for me to get bored with this game. :(

Uh Yeah, there are a TON of games that I never opened. I remember I went to Walmart and bought THE THING when it first came out, it's still sealed never got around to playing it. Same thing for Silent Hill for the PS1, never got around to playing that, LOL!!

I beat the game. I only found Ironmans gloves, chestplate, and Tony Stark. The good thing is I can go back and do what ever levels I want. So I am going to try to find the rest of the beacons. There were some levels when I only found 1 or 2 beacons. Deadpool is cool, I don't know if I will ever find all of the Danger Room Disk to be able to play Prof X. I beat the game using Storm, Rogue, Scarlet Witch, and Jean Grey, I never switched characters. I love that I can now use Storm's original costume.

Gamecube is the worst for sure since it has no online connectivity and no exclusive characters.
X-box and Ps2 (though loading times are longer than gamecube) both can go online and there are some online exclusive missons.
PC, has online and has 2 exclusive characters in the form of Pyro and Sabretooth.
And it's been rumored that the PSP version has Cable as an exclusive.

I beat it with Juggernaut, Wolverine, Magneto and at the time Iron Man was in my group, switched throughout with Colossus. Now I have Deadpool in for Magneto.

Yeah there are 5 pieces if you include Stark. One for every act.
I haven't been able to play as much as i would like because of work and such...but I am at the Madri Temple....and I love this game....hope the end of this game promises a third...kind of like the teaser from the first game

Im stuck in the part where it says I had to destroy the enginering, genetic processing and there was1 more...i did all of them..but i still cant go to that big room...and that guy still keep saying..i need to destroy the 3 places...

I don't know but single player this game rocks. If you even remotely liked the first one you will love this one. Awesome. I like the fact that you get more than one costume for each character right off the bat. Awesome action. I am a little less than halfway through and all I can say is awesome.

Just finished it last night w/my son (who killed Apocalypse in his first try...he's 6). Great game, but I hated having to get to the very END of the game b4 you save Tony Stark and get to play Iron Man...he should have been availible at the end of the 4th level IMO. Other than that, an awesome game that was one of this year's biggest pleasant surprises :)

I just got it, and I tried the online gaming.

I was in the process of defeating the second temple in Act 5 when my game froze. I shut the system down, and the next day went to restart my game and it froze again!! It continued to freeze as soon as I got into a big battle. I tried a different game, and different console to no avail. THE SAVE ON MY CARD WAS BAD!!! Can this happen, I have never had this problem before!! Luckily I had a previous save and was able to start at the end of Act 4, and am now back to Act 5 where I need to beat both temple levels....has anyone ever had any problems like this????

Mine was constantly going in waaay slow motion when I fought mikhale or whatever his name his. Did everybody's do this?
Oh yea same here, its like the game lagged.
it happened alot when you first fight him where there is a alot of him. But it happened even when you end up fighting him one on one...

ive got a dumb question. I am at the beginning and dont have a lot of time to play uninterrupted. But on about the 4th mission or so, where Im trying to find the secret unearthed pass into Genosha through the caves (got the computer parts) I CANT FIND THE DAMNDABLE ENTRANCE!!!!!
Is this part supposed to be hard? I just thought I'd go find it. It's not that big of a map (the caves). I have been blasting everything in site with storm and cyclops. No entrance.
What gives?

Have you seen Zealot? He is in the corner of the map, if that is where you are.

huh? I dont know about him. I am in those underground caves where the mutant insects are...there's supposed to be a way into genosha from here. Now that I have the computer parts I am supposed to be able to get through....but I cant find the door.
I am playing the PC version if that makes a difference. I keep going from one end to the other of these caves and can find nothing/.....

I didnt have a hard time with tha part also...
hHHmm... I just walked around and such and next thing I knew it I was progressing.

Just about to start the 4th act and i like the game wouldn't say it was awesome though.
Not that much different from the fist.
Different Characters and story and powers.
But i am still using the exact same time i used in the first one+only tend to use one character

when does Deadpool become playable?
I wait until I can play this with the ball and chain as there isnt many games she will play and enjoy so I'm not as far into the game as others
Deadpool becomes available after you beat apocalypse on the normal level

I was in the process of defeating the second temple in Act 5 when my game froze. I shut the system down, and the next day went to restart my game and it froze again!! It continued to freeze as soon as I got into a big battle. I tried a different game, and different console to no avail. THE SAVE ON MY CARD WAS BAD!!! Can this happen, I have never had this problem before!! Luckily I had a previous save and was able to start at the end of Act 4, and am now back to Act 5 where I need to beat both temple levels....has anyone ever had any problems like this????
My game has started doing this in act 4.
How did you get round the problem.
Please tell me i don't have to start the game from the beginning as i don't have another game saved
I did have to start from my previous save....the other save still doesn't work....sorry!!

I heard that this glitch happens in act 4 if you have too many things in your storage(at the base) or inventory. People suggested clearing out their storage and inventory some and it helped.

My stash+inventory are maxed out.
So will give it a try
Otherwise i have to start from the beginning again :bawling:

That did the job completed act 4 now just trying to get Danger room disks now before i take on act 5

tahts soo weird, they had the same glitch in the first x-men game. when you have to fight all the sentinals in new york where you meet bishop as a kid. i got lucky and the screen didnt turn green abotu the 50th tim ei tried to get by it
