growler for some reason first thing I noticed was the position of the toes and feet. I would think that with his pose there should be a bit of separation or flattening of the toes to show he is planted firmly ready to kick butt.

What kind of air dry clay are you using? I have recently picked up paper clay i hate to have to wait till it dries to work it. Great start.

That is a great first sculpt! Congrats! One thing I noticed is the eyes. Eyeballs aren't marbles rolling around in the socket. Maybe you can fill in the corners of his eyes a bit? Just a thought. Keep up the good work!

have to say that's a pretty fair Hulk buddy. For shading green, I like to use and mix it with purple which sounds weird but it works. :)

thnx tim just checking do you shade in with purple or mix purple and green then spray the shaded area ?.:)

Darkeye

I start with the lightest color which in your case is green, then add a lil purple to it as I go. This will gradually go a darker green with a purple tinge, till it goes kinda purple again.
You can shade warmer areas like knuckles ect with the warmer tone.

that's how I would go anyhoo.
