Since JDH is not around i thought i might ask here. i'm attempting basically to do some paintings based on my comic strips. i want them to look like an animaion cel basically. Ive taken JDH's advie and am using aceate sheets but i cant seem to find decent paints. Acrylics tend to streak badly. Various sites mention painting on acetate in the same breath as on glass. Would i need glass suitable paints? :banghead:

Any help?

Thankls.

Hi:

What you need is cel vinyl paint, which is especially formulated to be used on cellulose acetate. Currently the only manufacturer of cel vinyl paint happens to be Cartoon Color, Inc.: 9024 Lindblade Street, Culver City, California 90232. Telephone: (800) 523-3665.

Best Wishes,

Curt
