have been getting back into SF3 lately and got inspired to have a crack at a 1/4 dudley bust based on the in game artwork.
still early days, but would love to know what you guys think so far..

ya i might give it a shot and see how necro turns out i havent sculpted a lot, kind of just started a while back but from what ive done im fairly satisfied on how they have been turning out
i can draw fairly well (or so i think i can) lol so i think some of it translates well into sculpting and like i said ive been happy with some of the results
i just need time..... i work night shifts and half of my time is spent in bed knocked out and the time i do have i just want to relax and rest but i need to suck it up and just do some more sculpts , even though they take me a while
and i agree about the 3s patch its nauseating how long its been and weve gotten nothing!!!!!!! maybe soon? :praying:

If I were to get nitpicky I think there's a few details you haven't nailed 100% - comparing the first photo to the drawing the silhouette of his brow looks slightly off, and the curve of his nose looks more concave than convex - but that's truly nitpicking, you've clearly nailed the overall look and feel of the character. As for the bust, you have to get those massive delts in there! I guess that's where running out of Sculpey becomes an issue, lol
All in all, amazing work as always. Your sculpting is absolutely the benchmark for Street Fighter characters and for my money you blow SOTA and PCS completely out of the water as far as accuracy goes.
Dat Cammy tho!! She looks sick already, can't wait to see more of her.

Yeah man I reckon it definitely translates, if you can draw, you can sculpt.

so i finally decided on the cut of the bust.
it will be mounted on a square shaped trophy stand.
thinking about having 'lets fight like gentlemen" engraved on the front of the stand.

after cooking, got some nasty cracks.
i fill them with super glue to stop them getting any bigger.

Darned stuff. Gets more cracks than a Nudist colony! I just cant get it to behave so I went to waxes.

I made them separate pieces mostly for casting purposes, It helps to minimise air bubbles.
Also easier to paint after too.
