Popular Thor Mini Bust has hit once again $500.00 + on Ebay.
I recall about three years ago ........ Thor hit a $600.00 high. I recall this because the seller displayed the wings on velvet material.
Could be another Chrome Surfer Mini Bust.

I always have problems with really high bids that are won by people with ZERO feedback. Funny, looks like he won a lot from one buyer.

Hmmmm.

The seller has 100 percent positive feedback, so I don't think this is a 2nd account for him. Plus the buyer did buy 3 other mini busts from someone else. The seller probably got kicked off of Ebay and is starting over to screw people over again.

Something about this seller just doesn't sit right with me. Two weeks ago, he auctioned a Cyclops bust with the box but without the foam insert.
It sold for $355! (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6550143167&ssPageName=ADME:X:ON:US:2)

According to Nbr's list, there have been 10 others sold since the start of March. One of them did sell for $355, but it was mint. The rest sold for less than this.

I find it suspicious that this sellers auctions going so high.

Personally, I think the announcement of a Phase III is what may be resulting in higher prices for the earlier pieces. Another 2 years of Bowen statues can bring in alot of new collectors. JMHO.

one of the best bowen busts (I don't care what Randy says) - worth every penny.

Whew! Glad I got mine when I did. I think I paid $400.00 or something close. Yep, I'm one of those who snoozed and loosed. Ah, but ain't it a beautiful bust?

No way this is on the level. Too many auctions with the same seller and buyer.

Always check this kind of stuff before jumping in....

Hmmmm.

Seriously! This buyer owes a single seller $1421 before shipping (which won't be too much more).

I doubt the seller sees all of this. Or any of it for that matter.

So, because this guy is new to e-bay and drops some big cash pretty quick, you guys are all convinced that the auctions aren't on the level? Why? What would the seller have to gain by winning his own auctions? In fact, he'd have to pay e-bay on his inflated sale price. If he's trying to kite the bids, he's doing a bad job, winning all his own auctions! I think you've been watchin too much X-Files and are overdosing on conspiracy theories!

I own Thor and what these people do with their own items or so called items is not a concern to me. Let them do what they want to do, legit or not. As long as it does not affect me or anyone on here. Oh and DaddyV, I was in Randolph about an hour ago visiting my GF.

So it would've sold for more if the wings weren't attached?

Yes the wings if attached make the bust very fragile and hard to ship without damage.

Yes the wings if attached make the bust very fragile and hard to ship without damage.Which is why you should attach the wings with Elmer's Glue ... a few drops of hot water melt the glue away and make them easily removable ... I've moved mine 3 times this way and both wings are still intact.

Crazy Glue :eplus2: because the wings and the bust aren't going anywhere :eplus2:
