Hi guys,
last weekend I was able to add the Exclusive Version of the Ghost Rider (#138/300) to my collection and I am really, really happy with it.
I know not everybody is excited about this Comiquette but this Comiquette has been on my shortlist for a while and when I got the chance to buy this statue I pulled the trigger as fast as I could!
The Ghost Rider has in my opinion always been one of the scariest, most awesome and interesting characters in the MU. Not only because of his incredible powers but also because of the fact that Ghost Rider is in many ways a living contradiction: a Spirit of Vengeance using Hell Fire to protect the innocent and punish the merciless. Ghost Rider is fighting on the side of the Angels using his powers which arehell based and which were received from demonic Dark Lords.
Ghost Rider has seen the depths of Hell but still fights for what is right and that characterizes this remarkable character.
The Spirit of Vengeance is fueled by evil and will not stop until the guilty have received their rightful sentence!
The Comiquette is based on the artwork of Javier Saltares on the cover of Ghost Rider #94 and despicts the time when Blackheart was banished from Hell after which the throne of the Nether Realm was left to be accessed by Ghost Rider.

The cover art was great and Sideshow really managed to capture the magic into polystone since the Comiquette is just as impressive.
The throne is big and large and even though the throne is decorated it does not look like any other throne of the royal families of our realm.
Instead the throne is sinister and macabre, intimidating and spooky and as such it is a fitting seat for the Ruler of Hell.
The Ghost Rider looks formidable as always including his Hellfire enchanted chain and frightful spikes on his costume. But what is really cool is the fact that Ghost Rider is holding the Sceptre and wearing the Crown indicating that he is the Ruler of Hell.
All if all this is an impressive piece and when looking at it you can almost hear the bells of Hell tolling! :buttrock:
But as always I would like you to make up your own mind. That is why I have taken some pictures earlier today which I will post soon. The pictures are a bit dark but I felt it suited the grim and powerful appearance of this statue.

My verdict
Sculpt: 8 out of 10
What's good: The Throne of Hell truly impressive: it is sculpted in a sinister and macabre style and is fittingly big and large.
Furthermore Ghost Rider is beautifully sculpted as well with his skull burning with Hell Fire, his leather bike riders costume including the characteristic spikes and his Hellfire Enchanted chain.
What could be better: I would have loved it if Ghost Rider would have been a bit larger.
Furthermore it is a pity that the back and sides of the throne were not sculpted with more detail.
Sideshow has proven with the Dr. Doom PF that they know how to sculpt a jaw-dropping throne and I think that with a bit more effort they could have taken this Comiquette to the next level.
The demon heads sculpted on the front of the throne were a great start and it's a bit of a pity that the other sides of the throne are not on that same level.
Paint (application): 8 out of 10
What's good: The paintjob is overall solid and good.
The Ghost Rider is painted very well and I especially love the bone coloured paint used on his skull.
The throne itself is decently painted and I like the gold coloured sides of the throne which emphasize that this is a throne fit for the Spirit of Vengeance!
What could be better: Just like with the sculpt I would have loved if Sideshow would have piad a bit more attention to the throne with regards to the paintjob. Paintwise the throne has a relatively simple look and I think the throne of the Ruler of Hell shoudl look a lot more scarier, intimidating and awe-inspiring.
It would have been cool for example if the colour of Hell Fire or Brimstone would have been included in the colours of the throne.
Base: 8 out of 10
What's good: I like the fact that Sideshow did not use a peg to attach Ghost Rider on the throne.
Instead of a peg, magnets are used which keep Ghost Rider on his place.
The big advance of this is that you can shift Ghost Rider a little bit on his throne to find the pose that you like best.
Furthermore I think it's cool that the Ghost Rider is depicted in a different way than sitting on his characteristic motorcycle.
What could be better: It would been awesome if the base would have had some kind of light-up function to light up the Hell Fire around Ghost rider's skull or the demon hands sculpted on the front of the throne.
Furthermore as stated before I think the throne would have benefitted from more decorations. Since this is the throne which belongs to the Ruler of the Nether Realm it should look more intimidating, scarier and sinister.
Accuracy (size comparison, likeness, extras, etc.): 9 out of 10
What's good: The statue is a great 3D translation in polystone of the great cover art of Ghost Rider #94.
Like I said earlier you can almost hear the Bells of Hell tolling when you look at this statue; it is that cool to see Ghost Rider as the Ruler of the Nether Realm!
What could be better: I honestly would not know... this is what the Spirit of Vengeance should look like!
All in all an average score of 8.25 which is good score for this impressive Comiquette. Definitely recommended!

Despite being composed of bone and hellfire, the Ghost Riders possess formidable superhuman strength, enough to easily pick up a truck and hurl it across a road. It has been stated that Johnny Blaze as Ghost Rider can press around 25 tons (50,000 lbs) (or more as seen in World War Hulk).
The Spirits of Vengeance were beings of awesome power whose strength was matched only by the greatest of demons, it can be assumed that the Ghost Riders possess this same strength, which potentially rivals that of the Hulk. They also possess heightened reflexes which greatly amplifies their performance as motorcyclists. But a Ghost Rider's powers are more of a curse until they learn to control it, at which point it becomes a source of power.
Originally when Blaze transformed into Ghost Rider, his body changed but not the clothes he was wearing. In his new incarnation, this is different and his clothes take on a different appearance with a spiked leather jacket and chains. As Ghost Rider, he can cause his motorcycle to transform and surround itself with hellfire or he can create a new cycle from pure hellfire. He is also capable of projecting hellfire as a weapon. Hellfire "burns the soul" without leaving physical injuries on the victim and its effects have been seen as similar to the "Penance Stare." In his new incarnation, Blaze is now possibly the most powerful hero on Earth. During "World War Hulk" it was stated by Doctor Strange that Ghost Rider might be equally as powerful as the "Green Scar" persona of Hulk and could possibly defeat him. However, Ghost Rider is defeated and Johnny Blaze knocked out.
Zarathos himself then emerges and rides off because (as Dr. Strange stated) Ghost Rider protects only the innocent, which none of the Illuminati are. In recent comics Blaze's Ghost Rider has been given the "Penance Stare" and mystical chain, both of which were specific to the Danny Ketch Ghost Rider. Blaze also uses a shotgun and discovered that he can discharge hellfire from the weapon when he first encountered Ketch. He also now has new abilities including hellfire breath and the ability to produce chains from either his throat or chest. He is also now able to travel between the incorporeal realms.
