I don't know if this is the pose Ericks gonna use, but Superman is upon us according to FB! 1/5 and 1/6! These could just be studies. But you get a feel for what awesomeness he's got in store!

I'm excited like a kid before christmas. This whole DC Universe Sosa combo will be legendary.

1/5 scale line will have no competition at all and the 1/6 scale is a looooong anticipated antagonist to the Bowen Marvel Univerum.

Wow, this has serious potential! How about the below pose for the 1:6 Supes? It's the image from the card for the '80s superpowers action figure!

Thanks guys.
These are just un-posed anatomy studies, still posing. And yes, the face was 3D modeled and printed and it is my little homage to Reeve, Lee, Ross... just a mix of all 3 :)
However you can expect specific looks like Frank Miller's Batman, Alex Ross Museum Poses for the 1/5th.
Again 1/5th will be strictly museum, we will explore different artists designs. 1/6t will be action in different renditions as well. Will not pigeon hole ourselves into one specific look...the idea is to explore these characters though the ages.

So excited about you getting the DC line.

I'm really looking forward to an Alex Ross superman, but who am I kidding...I'll gladly add superman and MOST DC characters (the ones I'm partial to) from PROTOTYPEZ into my collection. Can't wait to see more.

Awesome!!!!!!!

Question..you're already doing the anatomy in the pose it's in. Do you find it easier to sculpt the anatomy in a museum pose and then change it to a action pose? Cause now the muscles would change shape? I ask because I just got into sculpting. Thanks

I see what you are saying, if you look behind the sculpt you will see that the pose is not too far off. The relaxed one I got going makes it easier for me to create symmetrical anatomy. I will adjust the deformation later.
And congrats for picking up sculpting

That's good to know. Thank you Erick. I hope to keep at it and hopefully become as good as you, but that will take years for me lol

Excellent choice on the pose Erick!! That pose will look great from different angles. And the "flying" pieces of the chain a la koto Magneto is just WOW!
What's the usual time frame from sculpting to actual release?

We are hoping for a month per character :)

I believe I'll be most interested in those 1/5 museum poses if I can setup the Justice League.

1/6 action poses sounds great too . Very tough decisions coming up.

If you do release a character per month, would you release the 1/5 and 1/6 scale versions of the character within the same month? Or would it be the 1/6 scale versions first and the 1/5th versions later on?

Superman is looking great. Any chance of doing 1:6 as museum poses? I'd prefer the more iconic pose and I'm just not a fan of 1:5 scale. One/month sounds great. That will hopefully mean we'll see characters like Zatanna, Nightwing, Power Girl, etc. sooner rather than later.

Not that I'm complaining, because the chains are awesome and I'll be picking one of these up, but I thought the first Superman was going to be flying?

You're assuming that he's on the ground while breaking the chains, depending on the base he could be floating/flying. Great pose either way.

I'm gonna have a hard time deciding whether to get 1/5th or 1/6th scale.

Erick, are you going to do that (1/5th and 1/6th scale) with your other licenses as well, like the Thundercats and Street Fighter line?
