Tsume vs PCS Round 1 Chung Li Statue

Lets get some comments, Im all for free competition and it seems that Tsume is ahead if we are looking at the face. But I do think that the Tsume stand is a little bit meh with Both legs in the Air...

I actually like the PCS face. That being said, Tsume's sculpt is strong but the lips really kill it for me.

Because comparing a $150 PVC Statue and a $380 Diorama doesn't really mean anything...

Yes the Tsume face is 100% better. Does it mean youre gonna buy the Tsume over the Diorama or Vice Versa? Not really.

If this was comparing the Bishoujo i could see the comparison.

If this was comparing the Bishoujo i could see the comparison.

Honestly the better option all the way through is buying the Tsume Chun Li and Balrog. They will be larger scale than the PCS and yet still end up being probably a bit cheaper too.

I like the Tsume better. It seems to fit the established aesthetic of Chun-Li better from the past 20 years of media than any of PCS's works and even the Kotobukiya Bishoujo (which I still got). There is some awesome Chun-Li art but none of the 3D representations have really hit that level.

I love PCS's stuff and have a few but I think the artist interpretation works better with the muscular males than the females.

And hey I like attractive characters to stay attractive through the transition to statue form.

That Tsume Vega is awesome with the fence. I so wish PCS would do a new 1/4 or even a 1/3(!) of him with that fence. And really Vega fits the character so much better than "Balrog".

I'm just calling them how they are being referred to as by Tsume themselves. I think of him as Vega too, but the statue has him listed correctly as Balrog and it's easier to distinguish it by calling him such.

But yeah it's highly fitting and dare I say Tsume has so far been one of the only teams to actually do something worthwhile with a SF character in that they are in super dynamic poses that better represent the kind of craziness the games offer. Throwing these characters on static black bases and giving them standing idle poses is not very accurate. When I think of SF, I think of the crazy stuff. Protoype is also doing SF justice in that regard. Putting Vega on the fence was brilliant since it'd be near impossible to convey his agility any other way.
