Thanks for the compliment. I enjoyed working on this, although at some time it was quite frustrating cos of errors.

I m now working on a damaged Sideshow Madame Hydra. Major mods on this. Will post pictures once ready.

CB can you share the prep process prior to painting with us?

Thanks for the compliment Travis.

I will provide a brief description on the prep work. Any questions can ask me.

1. First sand the surface the best you can, focus on bumps. I used a flat head diamond file for most parts, for narrow parts experiment with different profiles. Certain section I use a dremel for faster result.

2. This step can be skip as it is mod. I rescuplted the face, remove the teeth, detailed the fingers, replaced the claws, and extended the leg flaps. All is by dremel and the files for refinement. Claws are silver replica by local jeweler of a piece scratch built from pla plates. Rescuplting materials are plumbers putty / bondite.

3. Use mori mori putty to cover the holes, i do this by mixing the putty with hobby thinner and painting in the statue. For big holes suggest you use plumber putty.

4. Are the putty is dry sand it down using 150-180 grid. Then check if there are still holes n fill with putty.

5. Once complete prime it. Check for holes and fill it.

6. At this stage you can complete the mods if any ie test fit claws, scuplt teeth, etc

7. You can prime again if you wish to check for defects, or else it should be done now.

Before priming you need to sand it smooth with higher grade sand paper. Miss out on this on top.

outstanding work, I love it! I like all the custom work you did - very creative having a jeweler make you claws. was that expensive?

That's a lot of work but the results make it all worth it. Again, great job!
