Ok... I can't find this one on the Attakus site under 'marvel' or 'cinema' although I am sure it is a cinema sculpt. See it HERE (http://www.last-alliance.net/gallery/nixonSonstiges/Attakus_Spidey_02_9885)

I dunno about this one, C1eaN. Can't see it on Attkaus France or America sites. Looks very cool, tough. Try asking Drod, he may have it.

I don't know if it makes a difference, but it sure looks like a movie version of Spidey as opposed to a comic version.

OK this second link confirms the statue in the "ultimate DVD boxed set" is by Attakus and 5,000 statues were produced. I wonder if you can only get the statue within the DVD set thus making it hard to find info on it.

I have this one it's a nice little sculpt and yes it was a special edition that came when the spiderman movie was released. It comes in a wooden box and mine was below a big pile ;) but because I was doing some cleaning this weekend the box is readily available.
I can take some pics this evening if you want. Also there were alot of these being sold on ebay.de (german ebay), where I bought mine, I think they are still going for around 100 euro, I think you should have not much trouble finding one.

First time I have seen this piece. Very nice but it is definitely not an Attakus piece. Bombyx sculpted all the Attakus Spideys and that's not one of his.

I knew this thread would be about this piece. I just researched it a few weeks ago. Anyway, it's a great looking piece and apparently very difficult to find.

According to a guy on the Attakus forum it is indeed an attakus piece sold with the 5000 lt edition dvd release. I am wiating for confirmation from Diego (forum admin) but if look at it and the other Spidey cinema piece they look identical (except for the pose). The suit texture etc are a dead match.

Me bad. Thanks for the correction. I've never seen it on their site or anywhere for that matter. I guess if it was part of a DVD deal that would explain it. Now I'm wondering if Bombyx did sculpt it as well?
I am certain this was sculpted by Attakus but the box will be opened in a couple of hours all the ins&outs should be known by than ;)

Yup,
This piece came with the overseas Spiderman DVD "wooden crate"release. I am not sure how many were made. The box set usually sells for $150 or so....I thought about getting it a while back. It's a fairly small statue.

First dvd gimme minute almost done it's not as small as I thought only I thought the pole was taller lol I have never actually built it up not that it takes rocketscience seems like I remember it'd be longer..... they stole my pole :( lol :eplus2:

Should be when the first spidey got on dvd in france if you look at the box pic it says 2002 same on the leaflet...
Btw these were going real cheap beginning of this year I've seen this sold for 40-60 euro not once several times I just tried not too notice since I paid a bit more ;) (should have bought couple extra) I think if you keep an eye on ebay.fr ebay.be and ebay.de for a couple of weeks youll get a deal, well if you guys dont run the bid up amongst urselves hehe
still the normal ebayprice is +- 100 euro and that's not bad either

When you posted your pics of the Attakus Spider Man you actually subliminally altered my behavior.
I walk into my LCS this Wednesday and end up buying this great maquette of a red devil girl with a pitchfork. I see it and buy it immediately even though it is not along the lines of my regular purchases. I get home and in going over the forum do I notice that it was the influence of your posts in this thread that did it.

You find this piece only with the crate DVD and attakus does not sell it through there site, exclusive with the frist spidey movie!! sorta like mr.fix it and Tommy best. Bowen never sold those through there wedsite bec they were all distributed through BEst comics
I tried to bid on a few but the shipping is a killer !!!
