Hi Guys,

Lately Ive been finding it hard to do something for my self :( so i force my self to squeeze out some time to do quick sketches every now and then . most of them are crap .

but i thought this one was rather interesting .

Let me know what you guys think !

very cool. Maybe the snakes should be more like ATTACKING ... what I mean ist not just like hanging down more looking into direction of medusas eyes... know what I mean?

Yes.. perhaps some of the snakes can look forward huh.
I worked on the eye today to see if i can get sort of a
realistic eye anatomy and properties.. meh. didnt get very
far though .

Looking good Jai.. I like her face and the overall creativity to the bust

Love the way you made the face realistic. One of the first things I noticed was that her eyes are different from each other, very nicely done and nice attention to details!

I had a bit of free time ( waiting for dinner to arrive ) :P
i worked a little bit more on her to test out the potential
pose and i kinda liked the previous face better. the new
one makes her look dumb. so i reverted and re-touched
the old face ( the power of cheating in digital )

I like her looking off the side. I think it gives more of a hint of a sisnister look or that she heard something. Its just more expression without any radical facial changes.

Hi guys

Here she is. The base has an engraving of her story. It should be rotatable.

She is out for printing at the moment. She will be printed at 1/2 scale for a perfect size of a bust. :)

Ill keep you guys updated on the progress.

As usual comments and crits are most welcome.

Thank you . im really trying to push the limits of 3d printing here. but i doubt that the printer will be able to capture all the details. ill will probably touch it up after print to bring / add the details

Thanks guys.
The purpose of this bust is to actually test a new Skin painting
technique and eye casting. The goal is to get her to look as
realistic as possible in terms of realizing the paint job.
I plan to use semi translucent resin on the face and do light
coats of shading with proper mottling.

wish me luck! :)

If all goes well i hope to take it to the next step
