I know Sam usually has the market cornered on food related threads, but as I sat enjoying my favorite food in the universe today, I thought it might be worthwhile to pick the brains of you fellow junk food connoisseurs to find out: Whose Cuisine Reigns Supreme?!!
So for your money who's got the best wings? How hot do you like 'em? What do ya wash 'em down with?
For me the best wings I've tasted have got to be Applebees'--there's something about the sauce, mmmmm.... Spicy and tangy, but not too much of either. I think they must put heroin in it or something, because if I don't get them at least once or twice I week I'm Jonesin' bad. Of Course, the meal only gets better when I wash them down with a nice frosty Newcastle. Can you say HEAVEN? :buttrock:

It's a wings chain in a lot of college town, I'm not exactly sure what it stands for. They have a crapload of different varieties of wings though, and drumsticks (which I prefer). Oh yeah, flintstones in effect baby...

OK I know the answer is stands for........... Buffalo Wild Wings an Weck.
Whats weck u ask?
It WAS a special kinda roll(bun) for the sandwiches they served, somewhere between a hard roll an pretzel(I think) an it had coarse salt on the top of it.
I do think that they dropped the weck rolls, an shortened the name to BW3.
Killer sports bar an wing place, a buddy an I always go there for the NFL draft an other sporting events. They've got 4 or more GIANT projection screen tvs an lots of regulars tvs everywhere.
How do I know all this, I love to eat, an theres 2 of em not too far away from me.
Also Im pretty sure this franchise started in ohio, but dont hold me to that.
But my favorite wings are from a place outside washington PA. called Drovers Inn. BEST hot wings ever.
They sell tons of wings a week, and because of it are closed on monday an tuesday to restock.
They only sell 3 flavors - bbq, garlic, an like 8 lvls of hot, from milds to hurt me. I usually go with the suicides 2 lvls down from hurt me.
Cant beat it with a stick. :buttrock:

If I could recall .......... the best wings I had were at HOOTERS in ROCHESTER, NY ......... when I was away for school. Think wings were $0.15/wing on Thursday.
My girlfriend hated me on THURSDAYS. :eplus2:

I think we need to revisit this topic.
My latest favorites are Asian Zing and Caribbean Jerk from Buffalo Wild Wings.

Buffalo wings, cold beer and plenty of napkins. These are a few of my favorite things.
I know alot of folks swear by the wings at Hooters but I'm not a huge fan. I like wings that lean towards the hot side. Around DC I go to a little chain called Chadwicks. They're very good there.
Ranch or Blue Cheese?

Being a Buffalo wing connesoir myself, Hooters has some of the WORST wings out there. What is that mushy crap all over the wings? Hooters is just a place for guys to oogle scantily clad women. Do yourself a favor and spend your money on some good wings and a strip club! My favorite is a little place called Wendels in Norton Mass. Different levels of heat and great flavor. The wings are fried up crispy and lathered in their famous sauce. The sauce is sooo good, we take the leftover sauce home!

Well, mine are the best. Tossed in a little "Ass in Space" hot sauce. But if I had to choose a franchise, we have a place here in VA called "Buffalo Wing Factory".
They have like, 40 varieties of wings. Can't go wrong with that! :buttrock:

I like the "Wings To Go" around the area...they are expensive, but so good. They sell their buffalo wings by the pound (in half pound increments). They also have a decent list of other flavors like sweet & sour, teriyaki, bbq, honey bbq, etc. A half pound of boneless buffalo wings will set you back nearly $10.
