i really like the MT. i like the small bits of weathering around the handle and the long strap. i haven't put any batteries yet to enable the monitor/sound features. it's more of a display piece for me.

Thanks P1X4R! It does look good. I have the Hybrid and that thing is awesome. I was gonna start collecting a lot more props and replicas, so I was gonna try and get the MT, Spear, and the T2 Endo Arm. The Endo Arm I'm definetly getting, I'm pretty sure I will get the MT, and I'm still deciding about the Spear. Thanks again for the pictures!

O yea I forgot about the Rosebox Shotgun. I'm sold on that one too. Theres so much stuff I want. I just watched T2 again last night. Love the part when Arnold is on his motorcycle and how he reloads the shotgun. I hope you can take the Shotgun off the plaque. That would be cool.

I have an AP copy and mine looks really nice and well made. Very solid and heavy. Not cheap at all.

I 've just come into the right thread: I was wondering if the MR Predator Spear was worth of it. I always liked the design of this weapon, but I had doubts when I saw the pictures.

I just got the motion tracker for $199 from www.toynk.com
Real pleasure doing business with them, it came extremely fast. Back to the Motion tracker. It is very cool, looks amazing, especially displayed. The sounds with the batteries are very nice as well. Be warned, when unscrewing and rescrewing the screw back in when inserting batteries, the screw is very soft. I stripped the screw, and could not get it out. I was about to send it back for a replacement. Then i took it to a hardware store and they took the screw out somehow, after i tried a dozen ways, and put in a new screw. Now its as good as new. Highly recommended. Will try to post pics soon

The motion tracker is a great piece. The tracking electronics are cool to see, well made for the price. You can get them under two hundred, which is a pretty fantastic price. The case alone is darn expensive, getting it all packaged up is a super deal for the MT replica.
The spear is ok. The detailing look pretty good, but the screen just looks plain. Too bad MR did not add electronics to that part, would have made the prop. I have a feeling it would have sold much better if they had done so. As is, its decent, I personally would look for the discounted prices to get this one, well worth it then. Has a nice heft and accurate look. I have purchased through toynk also and had great service with them. You can get them on eBay them at a pretty low price right now as well.

Just saw this thread, but I gave in and ordered the Predator Spear back before Christmas during one of MR's sales. With Collector's Society coupon only ran me $49 shipped. Figured I couldn't lose thought it would look cool with SS Predator even though it is from Pred 2.

What I received however was the Alien MT. Couldn't resist taking a peek at it and really wasn't that impressed with it. Emailed MR and they sent me a label to send it back and shipped my Spear immediately.

I really like it. Like has been said before, would have been much better with a working display. Still a cool replica though. I don't like the fact that the only display option is hanging on the wall however. Planning to rig something up to display it simply setting on the plaque mount instead of hanging from it.

Wish I could add my pics, but I am now without camera again. Hopefully will remedy that soon though.

Back before Christmas they had a special sale. The Predator Spear was $99 with free shipping and I was able to use one of the $50 off a LE coupons from the Collectors Society.

No, the only place cheaper I have seen is on eBay and that is even hit or miss.

Seems like I remember MR doing a special sale for SDCC last year. Maybe they will do another one for NY Toy Fair coming up.

BTW, if you have any of the CS coupons left from last year, MR said they would continue to honor them until 12/31/2006.
