I was going through all the licenses i wanted to see from F4F whent hey said something from a new license was coming and one of the first ones was Castlevania.

No one has ever done any sort of Castlevania statue line, so yeah i am super happy!

Even though LOS2 wasn't the best game i still enjoyed it and that image of Dracula on his throne is pretty iconic now.

Hoping that the license gives them free reign on the rest of the series as i would love to see Richter from Rondo of Blood and of course Alucard from SOTN.

Even Alucard from LOS2 would be cool.

So yeah super excited and EX has been ordered!

F4F are getting a lot of my money next year already!

Very nicely done. $300 is a nice price even know its just for an extra right hand swap compare to $285 for reg. I may give F4F a shot.

Yeah the Dark Link is a good piece. Had no idea it went out in 2011. Sadly its long gone now. I'm also impressed with the Ganondorf piece as well.

I'm really thinking about PO this Dracula piece....just need a little more encouragement.

Yup...it's pre-ordered! Once I really studied the pics from the main F4F site I saw the great detail on it. This will be the 1st game related statue i've gotten in a long time.

It's my first F4F as well.

Some people don't like Lords of Shadow (I do), but it's the most fleshed out Dracula, and the only game we play as him, so this is a good choice for a statue of him, in my opinion. It doesn't hurt that the pose hearkens back to the scene at the beginning of Symphony as well.

I enjoyed Lords of Shadow as well despite the negative reviews. As you said, this is a good choice for people that like the character in general. Don't let the game itself detract from the quality of this piece. This will also be my first F4F. Looking forward to it!

I recently brought Lords of Shadow 2 for $30 and haven't had the chance to start it yet however I did play the first one and I really like it. I am aware of the mixed reviews for 2 however I'm still going to play the game.

Regardless of the games it is the pose of this piece (both EX & Reg) that struck me and I do recall the opening scene of SOTN and it was a bold moment of the game. I think Goran nailed this piece perfectly and the details on it is outstanding. This is as good as the Ganondorf (twilight princess) piece. I hope this isn't the last piece from the Castlevania line that F4F has to offer.

how is this piece still available??

qz33
04-22-2015, 01:06 PM
Likely because it is 1/6 scale and there is as of yet no companion pieces for it.

Plus the last Castlevania games have not had the hype of previous releases.

I was disappointed Julius isn't on the list, but since they never made that Castlevania 2000 game I guess it's to be expected.

I hope they do Shanoa especially with mixed media. Her outfit would look fantastic with fabrics.

Not surprised to see Alcuard top the list. Would love to see him come out along with Dracula and Death.

Gyro Zeppeli

I'm curious if they will humor the idea of 1:4 mixed media for the classic Castlevania line. I feel like the gothic inspired outfits the characters have just beg for mixed media. It would be hard to do, but designs like the Castlevania ones are the kind of designs that make mixed media interesting. Skin tight suits are terrible for mixed media, but things like capes, elegant dresses, suits, etc.. have a lot of potential.

They hate it because polystone is fragile; they prefer pvc. Also the people myfigurecollection.net usually only collect jap.figs which most of them are made of pvc.

Received mine today. Just opened for inspection until I find a permanent home for him. This being my first F4F statue, I'm really pleased. The paint app is overall very good and I think the throne is really well done. The wood finish looks convincing to me. Lots of details/weathering on both it and Dracula. Very happy. Now bring on Simon.

FullmetalPain

I don't have any 1/4 statues, but I have plenty of 1/8. Dracula himself (excluding his throne) is around the same size as a standard 1/8 JP figure honestly. http://i.imgur.com/rD1VFeG.jpg

http://i.imgur.com/Nt6p1cE.jpg

Statue is like 6.5" long
http://i.imgur.com/Z0RirkB.jpg

He's not connected to his throne by pins, so be careful because he can be wobbly on his throne.

Yeah that's pretty small. I was reconsidering getting this. Too bad it wasn't 1/4 scale. I don't know what F4F was thinking not doing this bigger, especially such a piece as Drac on throne.

I know it's 1/6, I was just saying that the throne makes it 1/6, but looking at Dracula himself is more like 1/8

Except that that's not true. Dracula, sitting, is the same height as your 1/8 statues, but height is not what determines scale. Dracula could be lying on the ground and he'd still be 1/6, even though your 1/8 would be much taller.

THis. Dracula is in 1/6 scale, regardless of the throne or his position. The point is - if he was standing up, would he measure about 12 inches tall? If the answer is yes, then he is in 1/6 scale. The throne is irrelevant.

FullmetalPain
10-18-2015, 10:27 PM
I know that. I just said he looks. Was just saying 1/4 collectors could've benefited from a 1/4 Drac figure because he looks better in scale with 1/8 figures.

Drahmin
10-19-2015, 10:44 AM
I have the statue in hand and it's pretty big for a 1/6 scale. It's about 18 inches tall from top to bottom. This is easily one of F4F's best piece to date. This could have been sold at $400 or $500 and I would have still brought one. The fact that this masterpiece is only at $300 is a bargain. I'm very happy with this piece. I'm thinking about getting Simon Belmont as well.

I don't mind waiting till next tuesday. All I want is to get my statue in one piece. my last 3 statues from F4F were broken. Two of them were glued in their factory and painted over. So check your statue carefully when you get it. F4F have been sloppy lately.
