Might be heading down for a day. My friend lives down there, so it's a good chance to visit him as well.

We're back!!!! Thanks to Marc Nathan and his crew at Baltimore Con for a
wonderful experience at Baltimore Con. We here at J.P.P. are ecstatic that we got to premiere our preview book there. We got to meet many fellow creators, publishers and of course, the most important one of all, the fanboys and fangirls. We handed out close to 750 free preview books of our creator owned series "The Super Naturals". The reaction was great.

On Saturday, we displayed the awesome Baltimore Con Piece that Jamie Biggs created just for the show in which we raffled off on Sunday afternoon. We received close to 500 entries.

Not only did we surprise many with an awesome free book, but we received a surprise as well. John Gallagher & Rich Faber of Sky Dog Comics,
(www.skydogcomics.com/drawingstrength), created a Star-Studded Benefit Sketchbook called The Drawing Strength Sketchbook and premiered it at Baltimore Con. They raised just over $4000 in Baltimore for the Katrina Relief Fund. Well, when we opened the book to take a look at the wonderful art that was inside and noticed that our boy Jamie Biggs made it into the sketchbook. The same week that we found out that they were putting together this special sketchbook, Toney Tapia got in touch with Jamie and asked if he would come up with something to get placed in the book. When Jamie was done, Toney immediatley sent it over to Sky Dog hoping it would get printed and to our surprise, on that Saturday, it was in there. Thanks guys.

On that same day, Toney made it over to Sky Dog's booth and offered the
original piece, which made it into the sketchbook, to Sky Dog so they can
auction it off for the Katrina Charity. And to our surprise, it went to the
highest bidder for $100.00. We here at J.P.P. are thrilled that we were able to
help out. If you are interested in purchasing this sketchbook, go to
www.skydogcomics.com/drawingstrength and order yours today.

And, for ten more days, you'll be able to purchase one of our books from
our store, in which all the proceeds will be donated to AmeriCares.

We are now getting back to business to finish up with issue number one
which is due in Feb. 2006 with a full colored cover. In a few days we will have a few pictures from the show uploaded so we can show you. Wait till you see a special WWE wrestler we got to meet at the show.

Once again, thanks for a wonderful time at Baltimore and it was a pleasure to go out a meet all of you.
