Well it's official we are the licensee for all things 1-1 and most resin figure scales, vehicles and HK's.

Love it! Will you guys be changing up the t-800 bust? What I mean is that I've got x2 HCG bust and x3 of Sideshows t-800 busts. I would like to see Something a little different. Shoulders, like what Sideshow did with the t-600 or that famous Stan Winston piece that they used for the opening credits (with the flames). There is a good knock off going around, t-800 with torso. I'm just after a slight variation. And yes I do have a problem when it comes to endoskeletons. One day I'll list them all and take photos. ;)

The bust is our first item and yes I have incorporated pieces of the chest to make the actual display. In other words it's like you cut the Endo off just above the chest. Then that sits on a super cool black base with a plaque. Our Skull will be very different than anything done before and we are trying hard to hit a $499 price range.

This Endoskeleton was created digitally and absolutely gorgeous!

Personally I'd love to revisit the T1 license since that skull has never been produced. There are a few things from T2 I'd like to do over, but most of the product as been revised, retooled and doesn't look like anything used in the actual movie. All of the first three films are controlled by one licensor and he's not willing to license more product to an unknown company, least that's what they told us.

Give it time, who knows...

This is sounding fantastic but if you guys plan of having the name Terminator Genisys on the plaque could you make it a removable option so that when it's displayed without the plaque it could just as well be a T-800 from T1 or T2.

I'm sure the film will be fine but it does have the potential to suck and it would be nice to display it without the name Genisys, also having the name of the character displayed on a life size bust is not necessary at times when they are as universally known as the Endo is, it's like having the name Hulk displayed on a Hulk bust.

Chronicle CS

We are doing a logo plaque and it's an industry standard these days, licensor's expect it. We may have it as a separate piece, but it will most likely be attached at the factory. It will be the Terminator Genisys logo.

I'm not a big fan of putting Endoskull on the plaque, but I do like the movie logo with the product.

Will post photos when we can....

You really are doing great things with pricing, a highly limited 1-1 endo for $499! A 36" Rodger young for less than the cost of the average PF if all goes as planned. Really can't complain!

If I'm honest, I'm finding it hard to get excited about Terminator Genesis (Isn't it weird when you spell a word correctly and expect people to think you've made a mistake) But I'll give it a chance, who knows, it may be excellent.

At any rate, I am sure you guys will do an excellent job with what you have to work with and I really look forward to seeing it.

Ahhh, that makes sense now, thanks for the explanation. I think all of us here understand that plans change, and things get in the way. The fact you are aiming for such reasonable prices is just nice to hear, even if it goes up a bit it wouldn't be the end of the world.

So this will be chromed rather than painted metallic?

If it helps to keep the cost down I'd say don't bother with the removable CPU chip, I have the Sideshow bust and I've only took the chip out once to have a quick look at it then put the bust back on display, it's a nice detailing touch but not essential.

Of course this is just my personal opinion, maybe others would love a removable chip.

Chronicle CS

Thanks guys,

I think that having Legacy produce the masters for these pieces adds to the heritage.

Our motto is Artifact, Artist-----------ART!

Even our 1-1 Skull was cast direct from Legacy's masters, so it's as close to the original as possible.

The new Endo is about twice the parts of the T2 Endo so the detail level is killer.

We'd love to do a true T1 Endo as it's never been attempted, but the licensor doesn't want to take a chance on a new company. I guess the biggest Terminator franchise had no problem trusting our company and our quality with their property.....we also appreciate them picking us over other companies that went hard for the license.

I believe we will be able to produce quality products for the fans by the biggest Terminator fan....ME.

I get calls and emails from collectors every day. I try to respond to everyone in a timely manner and I value your input and opinions. Don't be afraid to drop us a line, I want you to feel like you are a part of the process.

Thanks again and I think we have some killer pieces coming and you'll be really happy with what we are producing in the next few weeks....

Hey Guys,

Want to answer these here.

""Hey Paul, I just have a few questions regarding the terminator. You mentioned that legacy is doing a new 1/4 endo; what do you mean by that exactly? Is that the terminator piece that you will be making? When can we expect to pre order that one? You also mentioned that you won't be able to do a endo from T1, but would you be able to do Arnold from T1? Thanks!""

Our license is for Terminator Genisys. Everything we offer will be from Terminator Genisys.

Legacy does not have the license, we do, we have hired them to produce our 1/4 Endoskeleton. By Hiring Legacy we know it's going to absolutely perfect since it will be printed from the same files that made the 1-1 Endoskeleton we currently have in house.

I have no info on Pre-Orders just yet. I'm hoping the skull will be open to pre-orders before Feb 5th.

We have the license for all props and all scale figures except 1/6th.

We will be doing the main characters at some point. We are hoping to have at least four to five products by the release of the film.

Thanks for reading,

Paul

Oh! One more thread to keep my eye on! Alright, carry on!

Chronicle CS
01-27-2015, 08:27 PM
Let's be honest for a moment, when we made the T2 skull years ago, the same one that Sideshow makes today we had them all clean.

The problem with the chrome plating process is a 30% defect rate. So we came up with an idea to have zero product loss. Weather the skulls and sell the rejects for the same price. This is the same exact thing Sideshow sells on their site today.

There is nothing wrong with the skull, just some defect with the plating that prevents it from being clean.

So if you have a battle damaged Skull or Endo, that's a defective piece that has been saved by paint.

For Terminator Genisys Legacy made these all in house and used a chrome paint process for the Endoskeletons. The originals for T1 and T2 were actually vacuum metalized and not triple chrome plated. Legacy wanted more of a brushed steel look.

So ours will be the same exact process and our paint masters are being painted by Tim Gore who knows this process in depth.

Since this process is growing in popularity in China, we are confident we can duplicate this process with ease with no defect rate, it's not like plating where it's to costly to start over.

This also helps us nail the $500 price tag. When you see what you get for the price I think everyone will be surprised, we've tried to use some of the chest and back for the display since the neck pistons actually attach to the back plate.

Since I designed the base for the old HCG Endoskull with Constantine, I tried to stay very far away from that design.

I think everyone will be very happy with what we've produced.

I'm glad El brought that up, it's what we're all thinking ;) I sold my endo as the yellow plastic teeth completely undid all of the effort put into the rest of it.

Well, I'm getting more and more excited for Genisys. I know it has a lot to live up to and many seem to have already written it off because of the recasting of some characters.

Hell, I admit I was not thrilled when I saw those first few publicity photos that were released before the trailer. (Those were a mistake, talk about NOT making a good first impression) yikes

But the more I find out, the more I think this could be an awesome terminator movie full of nostalgia and some surprises.

There has been a few script reviews posted and they both seem pretty positive. I know a lot can change between script and finished film, but still this is encouraging to hear.

There's no major spoilers, at least nothing that hasn't really been revealed by the trailers so far.

So if you're interested, take a look.

If nothing else, the thought of the older Guardian T-800 vs the 1984 T-800 sounds worth the ticket price alone. :praying:

Just remember this is not Terminator 5, it's a complete reboot.

Think of it as a blending of the first two films with new characters.

Nice! I'm loving the idea of revisiting moments from the original but from different angles and seeing things altered.

Seems like a fun way to play with time travel, like Back to the Future did. I always loved how the second film tied into the climax of the original.

It is an interesting idea, how sending the original T-800 back in 84 could have altered the timeline in certain ways right from the start.

lol

Could explain changes like the look of the Endo Rifle or Endoskeleton even.
Just think, maybe by killing those punks for their clothes in the first movie, that T-800 caused a chain reaction that domino effect, chaos-theory like, into altering the Skynet of the future. Lol

Who knows what tiny things could ripple effect into massive changes in the timeline.
:vortex::vortex::vortex:

I like that this film might play around with ideas like that..

I'm going in with an open mind myself, the main reason I'm not getting overly excited is it seems to be heavy on the CGI front, never a good thing. The CGI Arnie in the last one completely took me out of the movie.

The endoskeleton looks a lot better in this one, more refined CG. And they fixed up that stupid riffle aiming pose. From the image above. I'm sorry, but that scene bugged the ---- out of me. I appreciate that robots should look robotic generally, but in this case the T-800 was designed and built to mimic humans. It kind of makes sense for it to be human like in it's movements. Good news on the CGI though if it has been improved. It looked pretty awful before lets be honest. The CG will make or break this one I think.
