Just received my new Prime One Optimus Prime Knight edition. I love this statue and cant believe the detail in the statues. This is my first prime one only bad thing is I want more lol. Iam thinking on getting megatron. Any Ideas on how to display these statues besides a Pax shelf

Hi guys, The Megatron statue seems like its in good shape. Iam just concerned with the gold paint, the gold does not look very goldish looks kind of dull. When I look at videos it looks like really bright GOLD. Is all the megatrons look like that or does it only look bright cause of the lighting people use.

These statues have big footprints, I was hoping they would fit in my 60" wide case but you need like 68" :( so I had to put them in my 36" wide case on two shelves. Still waiting for my glass guy to put in the side windows and the glass doors. Hopefully next week he will have them done.

Love the statues though, awesome detail.

I'm hoping my waitlist DKR Batman EX converts, if not I'll get the regular. Bane should be next...then that's it for a long while. I've got Scarecrow on order and am heavily considering Joker, but I'm not 100% sold on this version. I'm kicking myself for missing out on Freeze EX since I think the extra Nora accessory is a must have.

I wish that the 2nd batch of characters wasn't so far away...but it'll give me time to pay off these expensive suckers. Hopefully we see Catwoman soon.

I love this line. They really need to be seen in person. The quality of the sculpts and paints are second to none. Simply outstanding.

Hi guys,

Well I was lucky enough to get a Man of Steel figure within the UK. Yes it cost a lot but a big fan of the movie and reviews from the fans make it a must.

I also managed sometime ago to acquire a Sideshow lifesize Terminator Endo from Sideshow. This is the version 1 chrome version. Massive and awesome the best piece I have ever owned. Was damaged and needed some repairs but well well worth it. Eye still slightly damaged but adds to the battle damage effect!

PS I know this is not related to Statues but thought I would add a couple more photos for fans of model display hobbies anyway. I have over the last few years had a 6ft scale Airwolf made for me from the Tv Series (or rather first episode) and also a Studio Scale Bird of Prey from Star Trek III Search for Spock. Something a little different in case you are into other hobby fields. Thanks.

So I've been selling off my entire Sideshow collection since we moved house a couple months back, and then I found a collector a couple hours drive away selling the TMNT brothers online, I contacted him and after a brief discussion, agreed on a trade. Then I found out he had the Arkham Batman too and I offered another piece to agree on a deal if I liked it in person.

Anyways, long story short, as soon as I stepped in and had my first taste at the scale Prime 1 produces, the additional detail, quality and scope of these pieces, I was sold.

I traded my OG Mystique PF, X-23 Comiquette Exclusive, Carnage Comiquette OG regular for the four turtles, plus Ash vs Evil Dead PF Exclusive for Batman! I don't know about you, but when I set these pieces up at home, there was no comparison, they are amazing!

Received a couple P1 Arkham pieces last week. Both Deathstroke & Robin. Up until these the only P1 piece in my collection was the Frank Miller TDK. Very impressed with these and pretty excited to add the other Arkham pieces I have on order to my collection.

Word of warning when ordering direct from P1 and this may be common knowledge for those more seasoned in ordering overseas. Good chance customs hits you with an invoice for duties on top of what you paid P1 to ship. In my case I paid $178 a piece for my statues and still received a $90 invoice from FedEx for duties on both. Needless to say I wasn’t happy. Shipping was high enough as is but add this to the bill and it negates all the savings from the sale. Lame!

I know I’m late to the party but here it is. EX Guts (EX portrait not displayed). This has been a long awaited statue for me and I almost didn’t get it! Once the EX went back up for order on Prime 1s site I jumped on it. This is my first piece by prime 1 and man am I impressed. I won’t go on and say what’s already been said, you guys already know what a great piece this is! I have some pics of him next to the ThreeZero Guts 1/6 Figure so you can see how massive this thing is. Pictures are phone quality with not the greatest lighting so I apologize in advance, hope you enjoy the pics!

P.S. I included a custom unpainted head for the ThreeZero figure for comparison.

Thanks. I was planning to wait for TDR Bane, but I like the Arkham Origins design better and the price was pretty good.

I will most likely pass on Bale 1/3 as well and hope that Prime 1 is doing a 1/2 version to go with my Ledger Joker.

Just got the AK Batman Beyond statue today.... fantastic piece and a great compliment to the AK Batman and Hush Superman. Got it direct from Prime 1, paid it off last Wednesday, it shipped Saturday via standard shipping (DHL Express) and arrived today safe and sound. Thanks P1!

One of my most anticipated arrivals ever. Ajani of Magic the Gathering finally came in. I dont have any love or attachment to MtG, but I have a huge love of Fantasy, dungeons and dragons/swords and sorcery stories and lore. That was rekindled and embraced with Sideshows Dark fantasy line, Court of the dead. But I needed good guys to "battle the forces of evil" in my display lol. Ajani fit that bill perfectly. Here are some awful pics of him next to King Llane from Damtoys and my repainted Skaar statue. Ajani is MASSIVE! Enjoy.

Thank you! I love him. The pictures dont do it justice. He really fits in with my other fantasy pieces. When displayed in a group with my alter-Skaar, Llane, Red Sonja and Dragonslayer Ornstein, they really give a nice high fantasy fellowship of the ring feel to them.

Almost 10 years ago, I remembered hanging out in a local hobby store when I saw a Prime 1 Studio Megatron statue from ROTF displayed. Straight away I fell in love, it was huge, painted well, and was so movie accurate! I couldn't believe it, how did they manage to make Michael Bay TF designs jump into real life? I thought to myself, this is a must own! Until I saw the price, got a heart attack, and continued collecting regular transformers.

But the dream of owning a Prime 1 toy never disappeared, and finally so many years later I have brought it home! here is a video taking a look at my most beautiful Transformers toy yet! My first Prime piece, 1/3 SS Harley Quinn 057/500. Got it from Mandarake in Japan for a bargain price ($667 USD + shipping)- unfortunately she's missing her 'Puddin' choker, however Prime 1 are looking in to a replacement. Or I'll just cast one from the spare head stands. Either way, a beautiful figure.

Batman Arkham City 1/5 scale ES statue. He's a little bit bigger than the INC piece at roughly 17.25" tall. Tight paint apps, tons of sculpted details and very hefty. The cape is impressive, swooping way off to the side and back. Makes for a very good standalone piece and actually represents a good value considering the prices lately for some 1/6 statues. The only nit-picks I have is the orientation of the cape means it doesn't display well in a Besta and the cape is a little chunky around the collar if you pay attention too much. :D

Eva Test-Type 01 Concept by Josh Nizzi! Really love this statue with the dynamic pose of EVA dragging the Angel through the water and into the destroyed city. It does take up a bit of real estate at about 29 inches tall. It’s a heavy statue; good weight to the base, EVA, and angel. Does take a bit of time to setup since the city portion does have small parts and buildings to key in. One thing is that the UV reflective green paint only reflects in purple light so don’t expect it to glow in the dark.

A few months ago my waitlist order converted and this arrived two weeks ago.

I don't know anything about G.I Joe, I just really liked this statue. I have only two serious criticisms - the wingspan would probably make her very hard to display for most people, and mine seems to have a QC issue; unfortunately, the left foot doesn't perfectly connect with the base. If I attempted to push it in any further I'm quite sure the leg would break. Now, for all I know the foot isn't even supposed to be flush, so I'm not sure this is strictly even a flaw or not.

I've replaced the original images I uploaded, as the strong lights appeared to have washed out the details a bit.

At #14, I suspect she was returned due to the problem with the foot attachment. Personally, I'll be keeping it, as the issue isn't really noticeable unless you are really scrutinising things. I think the waitlist option disappeared right after mine shipped, so I really think I got the very last one of these available from Prime.

I really love this statue, lots of little details to look over. Also for this gold version, I really love the glittering base / rock he stands on, it actually looks awesome in gold!

It came with Axe or Gun switch out as you know, I decided to be a little different and display the axe for awhile.

Just got my Big Game Predator today.

This was my favourite comic as a kid, I used to treasure them and take care of them in special covers etc so this statue is prefect for me. Recently bought the big nice reissued graphic novel collection too. Really happy with this piece.

Hello all,

This is my very first time posting in this thread as this is my very first time purchasing a Prime 1 piece. I needed a comic/semi-realistic version of the Batman for my collection and to date only have the 1/4 scale Sideshow Michael Keaton Batman that pairs with my Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman 1/4 from SS as well. Since then, I have been building my Batman comic-semi realistic style collection as I have since pulled away from "movie versions" of characters.

I was not a fan of the recent SS Batman 1/4 scale PF but do love the armored version of Batman. I love the Arkham games and love that rugged, tactical look and then decided to pull the trigger on the Prime 1 Batman Advanced Suit that is part of the Justice Buster (although will NOT be getting that one.....I love my wife!! LOL!!)

Poison Ivy arrived today. The box is massive, and very heavy!
It was nice to see Prime 1 included a full color sheet showing how to assemble Poison Ivy, as they are many parts involved.

I opened up the box to make sure there were no breakages. It was at this point i decided not to unbox the statue fully.
Putting all those parts back into the box is going to represent a challenge!

I will unbox and fully assemble Poison Ivy once i find a permanent display location.

From what i have seen of the piece in person, Poison Ivy looks excellent! :)

After six long years of dead ends, Todd tried getting it, Shiok Toys was supposed to acquire it but ended up screwing me and the mass amounts of proxy services I use that couldn't smuggle this out of the country due to license restrictions. I literally have a proxy service that exists two blocks from Prime 1 Studios HQ and they couldn't get it. I finally have my white whale.

I happened upon a random collectible shop I never heard of in Chicago. I was looking for Transformers but unrelated to the print and saw it in their stock for retail. It was the only one they had. It shipped via UPS for $35 and I got it in two days. I miss those days.

I love this print; I love the statue it's based off of. The colors are really nice and vibrant. Its hand signed by Josh Nizzi with no auto crap like Sideshow.

With all the doom and gloom, material and shipping hikes it's nice to share stories like this and if there's something you've been hunting ages for, please don't give up. :)
