Yeah, the content is a little hit and miss sometimes.
There have been some pretty good exclusives, even if it's stuff I don't really collect.
There was an exclusive Pop vinyl Batman figure in the crate a few months back. Not really my thing so I put it on ebay for $5, didn't really care if it sold or not.
Ended up selling for $50. :eek:

For me, I enjoy the surprise element of it.
A few of my co-workers at my office subscribe and it's fun to wait and see what is coming each month. A nice little surprise to look forward to.

I don't think its too expensive at about $14 a month. They say every box has a value of $40 or more in content.

Anyways, looks like there might be something Blade Runner themed involved in this crate as well.. Is that a Spinner I see in the image they posted? Hmm...

There have been times where the crates have sold out before the cutoff date. Just keep that in mind...

I don't see why you wouldn't just lock one in if you have any interest in what Chronicle is doing.

Look, I know everyone's financial situation is different.. I'm not trying to sound snobby.. but is $16.95 (after coupon) really that much of a risk?

Just ordered the Loot Crate. Had to after what Paul said. I do find it hard to believe that one of the items could be a 1/2 endoskull. The pair of items would have retailed for $40. The second item would have to be something of almost no value, although I'm not sure why I'd think it had to be a 50/50 split anyway.

A complete repaint and adding lights to the eyes and a custom base will make the endoskull look completely awesome/20 times the price. The metal brain chip keychain is definitely a keeper. Nice TF shirt too. All in all, worth the 16 bucks.

just opened mine, brain chip is awesome and very good quality think I'll put it in my russrep flask to replace his chip (which I always felt was undersized), t-shirt I really like, endo skull...hmmm it's nice but very cheap feeling but like THX said with a good paint up and lights added will look awesome though the eyes on mine are crossed so will need cutting out and repositioning. The rest of the stuff isn't really worth mentioning, worth the price overall though :thumbs2:

Overall everything but the CC stuff I couldn't care less about. It's the typical lootcrate stuff. But the CC goods are the best items I've ever seen in a lootcrate.

My skull's jaw is definitely warped? or something. Not sure how that happens at the factory if they were created from molds(?). Paint job was definitely a factory quickie but overall it's well enough. I think I just might take it upon myself to do some repainting on it, in particular the teeth. It'll make for a good side job when I have my painting materials out for my model kits. The keychain is ace. My reaction was "oh daaaaamn!"

For the 20 bucks shipped or less, it's a pretty good haul and I'm glad I didn't miss out on it. I honestly was expecting that shirt to be a CC Terminator shirt.

EDIT: Nevermind about the mega. I just found out it is less than stellar to my tastes. Nothing there high dollar via CC unless there's stuff in there they don't reveal in advance....

The key chain brain chip is very nice. Love that actually.
The skull is sweet too, but understandable that the paint is not the most detailed.

For a loot create item, definitely one of the best pieces.

That brain chip though... I would love to get some details on that. Was that based on something from Genisys as far as screen used or CG model? Is that exactly 1/1 scale? Certainly seems like the right size.

I absolutely love the design on that shirt as it is a mash up of my oldest daughters two favorite properties. The 'Batman 75' crate was the first and only one I ever bought. Some decent swag but nothing I would have bought had I seen it in the store and hence not worth the money spent.

I took this nearly in front of my monitor so the quality looks shoddy. The w/flash version came out much better looking in picture form so I couldn't use it lol

I'm not upset in the least about it. Oddly I am now really looking forward to repainting it. I just have to figure out what that red color is. I think I have a gloss red for it that I might like better than the current shade. My chrome silver might have to do unless I find something better. Black and white is cake. This will be fun fixing :D :buttrock:

Got mine. The skull appears to have a paint blotch between the eyes on mine. Is that how it supposed to be or is mine a defect?

Mine isn't any different. Black paint is all over the board on mine. It makes you wonder the process of making them. Did the factory tell them to paint them this way? or was it just workers being workers? It's pretty common practice to see this kind of work for low end product designed for geeks and gamers. To us it's art. To them it was last month on a Monday or something. It's just work to them.

I'll be sure to use the 1:1 bust pictures as a guide...anybody know of a good solution method to strip paint? That's something I've never had a need to do and I'm sort of interested in painting this from scratch. I recall a video of a guy using a solution to strip chrome from a plastic part, but that's as far as my knowledge goes.

Very underwhelmed, won't be buying another. It's full of rubbish mainly. The main item I got it for, the endo head is very badly painted with red from the eyes bleeding all over it (maybe I got unlucky there) The only thing I'd consider actually buying individually is the key chain which is quite nice.
