Good Smile Company Attack on Titan 1/8 Statues

Thought i'd start a thread for these as i think i have seen a couple of people mention they are picking them up.

I went with these over the Koto ones as i just thought they looked nicer and i preferred the bases.

I got Mikasa last week, Mikasa is the only one to have a regular version and a DX version. The regular version just has a clear stand which she pegs into the DX version, which i have, has the roof top base. The DX version is the only way to go imo as Levi and Eren also have themed bases.

It comes in quite a few bits but instructions are in English as well as Japanese and she goes together pretty easy. I did use a spot of glue applied with a cocktail stick in places as some bits weren't holding as tight as i liked.

Everything is pretty flawless, the base looks great as does Mikasa herself and all of her maneuver gear. The peg is metal so i doubt this will lean i just worry about Mikasas leg leaning eventually but only time will tell.

Very very nice piece, just make sure you get the DX version. Can't wait for the other 2 now.

I like the idea behind the base, though the size of the window really bothers me. It seemed like all at once every company out there in Japan made a Mikasa statue.

Looks great DGK. I'm still waiting on my Mikasa, Erin, and Levi to come into BBTS so I can ship. Can't wait to have them posed against the Colossal Titan!

And yea Gyro Zeppeli, that is the way it goes for the huge hit anime series. The licence gets sold to every company wanting it and a ton floods the market with different poses and bases.

It was hard choosing for me because there were 2 or 3 Mikasa that had my eye, and 2 Levi ones.

I looked at the overall set and preferred what GSC were doing so that's what i went with.

I'm sure the others are fine but i was only ever gonna pick up 1 set and these looked far and away the best for me.
