1/3 Spiderman 2 Statue

Hi guys, I'm not sure where to put this. Just want to share this statue that I've just received. Here're few quick shots. It's a 1/3 scaled Spiderman 2 statue from Idea Planet Inc. Limited 1000, around 26" tall. The pose, sculpting and paint job are great. Am very pleased with the statue, the overall construction is solid too. It doesn't weight as it seemed(actually it's pretty light)it's around 16-18lbs. I also put the CM T-X next to it to give you guys and idea of the size.

Others have said the quality was lacking but it looks pretty good to me!

I finally got back home and opened mine up tonight.

To tell you the truth, it lacks the quality I personally look for and it will not be joining my collection. It's the real deal but I just do not like it.

Agreed. Normally Gru and I have the same opinion on just about every piece, but I love the AT-AT SE. It's my favorite piece that I own. There are only a handful of pieces out there right now that could even come close to it for me.

I need to get the Cinemaquette T-850 and the Alien Queen bust to compare how much I like them to the AT-AT. Those are great pieces also.

I know what you mean, I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but I feel for the $$ , I could have gotten some other really great statue or (statues)
It makes quite the impression with it's size and base and paint job is better than I've seen on some of Bowens statues(who I love) but I don't like Spidey's head, much to round instead of oval.

I got mine in a couple of days before Christmas. It was a gift to my son and he loved it. For the price, especially after adding on the additional savings, it's a bargain. It's definitely a space-hog, though, so be prepared clear up some space for it.
