Hey all,

I've successfully organized a number of poster commissions on ExpressoBeans (20+), but am fairly new to Statue Forum. Thought I'd share the next comic-related poster we have coming up.

Details:
- Art by fine-artist & DC/Marvel/IDW/Fables artist Nimit Malavia.
- 24x36" Screenprint
- Edition of 25 Regulars
- Edition of 25 Braille Variants
- One of the two will utilize all metallic inks.
- $125 USD for one, $250 USD for the set.
- Limited spots; priority given to those who order full sets, given convenience.
- Undergoing pre-press and will be sent to print soon. Expected copies should be in-hand within two months.

The poster has been traditionally illustrated and is conceptually driven. The artwork speaks to Murdock's struggle of crossing the line, good vs. evil, his faith, blind justice, and blind rage & recklessness. For those familiar, it speaks volumes to the depth of the character and the series.

We have a handful of spots left, but not many. PM if interested. Cheers.

I get the imagery, but not a fan of this, way too far from the source material.

Looks great though :thumbs2:

Yes, and intentionally so. How much Daredevil art is out there? How much is different than the rest?

Daredevil is arguably the greatest written character in comics. The series has been consistently great for decades.

The imagery speaks to this, rather than the superficial, super-saturated imagery associated with superhero television and film adaptations.

The imagery, and the thinking behind the imagery, challenges the status quo of blockbuster art. How many floating heads can we look at before we get tired of it? Great art challenges you, or evokes an inescapable mood – and Nimit has accomplished just that.

Thanks for the kind words. We're very happy with how this turned out – but that's to be expected with Nimit :)

Licensed?

It is not, thus the very small edition.
