He looks great, there is too much temptation with the batman line, I want a lot more than I thought I would.

And with so many switch out parts giving multiple display options, not to mention those detailed bases, this is really a great line to collect from.

^2 different statues...I understand what they're doing, but there will be 3 statues of the same character in this line(Red Hood). I love what this company puts out but I think they go overkill with the variants lol

Still don't see you're point. The Arkham knight and red hood are different enough to warrant a variant. Deathstroke in origins and knight are the same model. What would they make a variant of?

They won't. This should be it for Deathstroke. There's no difference between the AO & AK Deathstroke costumes that I can see. I'm OK with that though. This glorious piece will be all the Slade I need in 1/3 scale.

I'm sure a comic version will come soon in 1/3. But this one is done well so can't complain either way. Batman I'm not sure of because of his pose. Will have to see when he arrives. Metal face camo batman I know I will love. Same goes for this orange Spidey like guy. Both will be great. Bane I may consider if he is the same price. Otherwise don't have the funds or space for it. Not even sure if I like the jacket bane. Oh wait he has a switch out body. Oh will see price first.

AK was my least favorite Arkham game. It was still fun to play but I had issues with a few parts of the game. The way Deathstroke was handled was near the top of the list.

Appreciate the vid post valkyrie, the detail on deathstroke is fantastic, really like the battle damage on his armor, but I would display him without the rifle. Can't wait to see this painted up, I think it jumped to my short list of pieces to pick up.

And I still love the base on this piece, the reaper is a great touch for this statue.

Bane and Croc will have different bases from a lot of the Origins pieces due to their sizes. Bane is gonna be around 40 inches tall, and even though Croc will be bigger than Bane, he will also be 40 inches tall due to his pose.

Nope, I like them when they make sense and it works for the character. When it's just an afterthought or something thrown in to give the illusion of value I'm not a fan. Like the batgirl switch out head.

Very cool. Be ready for this pre-order guys. Tons of hype around this one and unlike other characters there isn't a whole lot of Deathstroke statues on the market. Especially in large formats. Those 750 ex are gonna disappear quick I think.

As much as I love this piece, I will have to admire it from the sidelines. Big Congrats to those who are buying it though. This IS the next level. After looking at what Prime is putting out and the detail put into it, I just can't go back to SS and Premium Formats....

I know what you mean, but its nice to know that prime1 includes alot of options anyway, you know the nice part about prime1 collectbles there is no ex or fail as you call it its not needed. I was talking to a friend of mine about the same thing. Sword/cowl would be my ideal display. Honestly from a design standpoint I can't see it being really difficult to make the staff and sword interchangeable between both of those hands. It's likely not going to happen, but that would be a cool option.

Well, no one really knows because nothing from this Arkham line has released yet. On the three previous statues, I think it's been averaging 6 - 9 months from when the PO went live to the estimated release dates on Sideshow's site.

Yeah I've quit sideshow altogether and I'm completely onboard with P1. It's too bad we can't acquire the ex some other way. I'm not a fan of supporting them via purchasing prime 1 from them. Unfortunately there's no other option as far as I know.

These Prime1 statues are amazing, so detailed, so much value - truly high end. But with that, it's a bit much for me just being a regular dude in an apartment. A 1/3 I would need to reserve for a truly iconic stand alone character - much like a Batman, but also have some more disposable income. To make matters worse, it's hard for a pimp up here in Canada, to give you an idea your $899 statue is immediately $1225 Canadian. And then we pay for shipping and get accosted by customs charges. So they have phased me out. But does that mean there shouldn't be these high end collectibles? Of course not. They are insane, I can't wait to see some in hand pics and reviews, I'll just have to wait for more 1/6 and/or save up for some select 1/4. But the $1000 mark for a collectible is really a once every couple years kind of thing. Congrats to everyone who PO's, that EX is so dope.

When I got into collecting I never would have imagined I would ever be so eager to drop over a thousand bucks on one of these things.

I started off collecting figures and scoffed at the idea of spending a couple of hundred dollars on Bowen and koto statues. Now I'm purchasing XM statues including mags. So I would say never say never lol.

Oh same here. Started off with one action figure, then a couple gifts and it went all down hill. I specifically remember thinking about buying my Skaar for $450 (which is a great deal Canadian I now realize) but it honestly took my 3-4 weeks to pull the trigger. Now I spent twice that on the XM Thanos. But it's time for me to draw the line.... at least until I get a big time promotion.

This DS statue is EPIC in every way. This character gets no love in statue form so to get one that looks this phenomenal is fortunate. Anyone who passes on this and likes the character will regret it. Even if by some miracle we see another DS statue down the line, you have to ask if it'll look anywhere near as good as Prime's. I think not.

I can't wait for this to go up for PO. There'll be no hesitation whatsoever in pulling the trigger for me. This is the very definition of a MUST HAVE piece for me personally.

Yeah, I just never cared for the AK Bats costume so it was a pass for me. I'm sure we'll see a AA or AC Bats somewhere in the near future. That's the one I'll be waiting on to add to my collection.

As for the ladies...Catwoman and Harley are the only women I'll even consider in 1/3 scale. However, Bats, Joker, and DS take top priority for me. I can pass on anything else if I have to.

I have the first PF and I think it's great, so I'm in no rush. The same will be true to a lesser extent for the Joker, Harley and Catwoman.

Deathstroke and Nightwing are the most interesting to me right now. I'm going to have to be very selective if I'm going to dabble in 1/3 due to space.

As far as DC goes, this is the ace Sideshow has up its sleeve because they're doing the classic designs. If Prime 1 was doing classic designs, it would be lights out for SS.

Yeah, It definitely won't be this weekend. The only times Sideshow has ever put a PO up over the weekend is during an event like Spooktacular or SDCC.

I love the unmasked portrait and I'll probably be rocking that more than the masked one. It's fairly common for him to be unmasked in the comics and for me the white hair and eye patch is just as iconic as the mask.
