I prefer the jacketed version as well. I am pretty pumped for this piece although I fear the switch out body will put the price on this piece beyond my reach since it's essentially two statues in one.

going to depend on how tall the base is going to be, I'm going to guess around 40 inches tall with the base, give or take. try and compare where he's standing next to death stroke and Noel Batman, will give you a general idea.

It's almost two statues in one, it would be difficult to keep this the same price as the others which are smaller. Maybe he will have a small, much less elaborate base to offset some of the cost of the alternate torso.

I mean it's possible, but try to be logical about it. It's also possible Prime 1 will start shipping their entire production line to you or free. If you're expecting $900 you're gonna be disappointed and subsequently complain about how high the price is.

My think with Bane is that he scarcely conveys the feeling of the comic iteration, of a Trained mercenary immersed in the Venom serum that grants superhuman strength and durability, but this isn't P1's fault.

The statue is good, and from the look of it, must be extremely huge, Bane looks more of an oversized thug.

Unless ES is 500 I won't PO. So whatever price they put it is fine with me. The shipping for 2 torso will be high. I may get one later on for 1k when these fills the market and collectors will have to let things go eventually white so much coming in.

Had they used the Venom torso along with the crossed-arms torso as an exclusive/ultimate, they'd never move the regs. I think it's a good decision to use the torso everyone would rather own (Venom torso) as a regular.

I think you're both probably right. I think they wanted to give buyers the option of a cheaper package with the one torso, and I think they picked the venom torso as the default/regular, knowing it would be the better seller.

I think I'm the only person here that prefers the jacket version. Looks badass. While I like the venom torso too, I hate that he's randomly pointing, and it only looks stiff with the legs straight like that.

In the game Arkham Origins, he was portrayed as a mastermind until he overdosed on the venom at the end and became the mindless brute who suffered the memory loss that was a side effect of the venom. He is $999 with an edition size of 750 but sadly no exclusive but comes with

3 heads unlike the mercenary version that comes with 2

You get the angry portrait which is my favourite of the 3 :)

Ever since I played through Arkham Origins I've always preferred this version of Bane. The wrestling suit getup has always been weird to me. (I'm still getting the PF 1/4 though.)

As Prime 1 appears to be winding down the push for the Arkham line, I have been looking at the supporting cast and this has got my attention. Interestingly enough, I actually prefer the Mercenary version over the Venom although the Venom version is bad azz! My thoughts for what it's worth.

The Venom version, although a very nice design and based on the internet the more popular of the 2, for me has a less 'realism' factor when generally matched to the other statues (minus Croc) with the green tubes running in and out of him. Although this IS the comic bane look, I am looking for these 1/3's to be as if they walked out of the game and into the world. The pointing is 'ok' and the 3 heads are a nice touch.

The Mercenary version, to be fair, at first did not get my attention. I thought it was lacking in color that reaches out and grabs you. And his pose and jacket did not speak to me. Until now. Imposing, dominant, alpha male statue that transcends the comics and games. Put him next to the bats and you think ohh wait, that's the guy that broke his back. And he is not intimidated by flying squirrels.

What is interesting is now Mercenary is showing almost sold out for a statue nobody seems to give the time of day. Only 350 total. Try and look for videos of this guy and good luck. Not found at Comic Con. Wonderfest 2017 it felt as if it was skipped over. Shiok Toys video admits that maybe this would appeal to the gangsta type? Reminds me of the Warren Buffett style of investing where you look where others are not looking, be hungry when others are full. Interesting when compared to a character that is very popular, released with a very low total ES, and almost un-noticed.

I think I will be going to place a PO....

Both The Mercenary & Venom Version of these pieces rock. However the Venom version made more of a impact on me then the Mercenary.

The details on the Venom version were so well done and the additional enraged portrait it comes with is a big + .

I originally had both versions on PO. Love them both. The Mercenary version is more imposing in my opinion, but the Venom version speaks more to what the character is. I wish Prime 1 had given collectors a third option to purchase the Merc torso with the Venom statue especially since the legs are the same on both, and come in pieces. Oh well, they didn't go that way in production, and here we are with two statues. Thus I had to make a choice since I didn't want two Banes in my collection since I am trying to collect the whole line. Have to pick your battles.

I would like to have just the venom bane torso as a switch out but still can't get over the tubes. I mean, if you were really fighting this guy that would be the first thing I would pull out or cut. Practical? Don't give a f&ck bouncer look all the way!
