I don't mind, this beauty will be mine and I'm confident CC will charge the best price for a high quality collectible :)

Sorry but I don't have an endless pile of money. Also I am in the process of buying a new house so I have to watch what I spend. I would just like to know the price so I can decide if this is a go or no go.

If the price is right, I'll most likely place an order for this piece. I love the scale and detail on it. It just doesn't get much better than Buck's good ol' trusty Starfighter.

This piece looks awesome. Love the paint and details.
I honestly don't know much about Buck Rogers... yet I want this replica. Haha

Good job Chronicle!

The look and the presentation of this...
It just makes me drool over the thought of other studio scale sci-fi crafts I'd love to see Chronicle tackle.

Retail is $750, this is a big ship with lights in the engines and logo base.

This is a lot less than other companies offering ships of similar size and pedigree.

That's a good price considering the scale, light up features, and detail on this piece. Thanks for posting it here early, Paul.

Is the ES still planned to be 250?

Morgul Steve
10-28-2015, 12:19 PM
$750 is a good price. I really like these types of collectibles. I wanted to order the Qmx Star Trek models but at $5k a pop they were too rich for my blood.

I have a Star Destroyer Anigrand kit that was built for me. Cost around $3k and lights up. Yeah that's a lot but hey it's Star Wars.

Chronicle CS

I agree that Star Was can command a higher price. Our original masters came from John Eaves of Star Trek fame and we know it's as close to the original as possible.

The ES is 200 pieces, 100 US and 100 International.

This one was a passion project.....

That seals it for me. I'm in. This will be a really special piece to add to my collection. Thank you for making it, Paul. Passion projects are a good thing to mix in with high demand pieces every once in a while as long as they don't break the bank.

eFX has the Galactica license, we'd have already made the ships if the license were available. Who knows if they don't produce before their license is up we may be able to make a Viper and Raider.

I'd love to make the Draconian fighter if this piece sells well.

Chronicle CS

The canopy doesn't come off and I'm not sure I get the floating comment. This one does come off of our prototype and it could be a slight shadow casting from the sides. Honestly I didn't notice anything until you posted.

Paul, I hope you consider making more replicas like this one.

Hopefully the Draconian Raider is still in the cards.

Yes, the shadow makes it look like a gap there. I seem to remember some kits having the option to do a two seater by swapping out the canopies, but I don't know how practical that would be here.

I can name several old space ships that have plenty of people following them from the 70s and 80s....

I'd be interested in the double canopy. The club option is a good idea or maybe as a bonus for those that order direct.

A thought just crossed my mind. If the single canopy isn't removable on the production replicas then how would you change canopies?

will the club cost money to join? when is the club going live? If I order the starfighter and later join the club would the benefits of the club be retroactive?
