While I love the helmets, you need need to produce full 1:1 busts with the same quality.

As I've both several of these at once I thought it 'd be best if I posted here.

Bought the mark 42, 39 and 7 helmets. The mark 7 seems to be the best of the three. Best finish and paintjob. Although the red on the mark 42 is very impressive as well.

The mark 39 I'm somewhat dissapointed in, as it should not have passed the QC:

The mark 42 also has little cracks in the paint, which you cant really see unless from up close. I'm not sure if this is something to mail them for, or is it within the range of what can be expected? I'm asking as these are my first pieces. :p

In general I think Imaginarium art did a good job with these pieces. I just got unlucky with the mark 39 (and perhaps the 42), which shows that their QC still has room to improve, but perhaps now that they are part of Prime 1, that might improve.

I'll keep you guys updated on how they handle my claim(s).

That's a damn shame. That should have never left the factory. I hope they work it out for you. I ordered the Milano ship and I'm expecting serious quality for the money. I don't have any IA products as of yet.

Yeah, the starboost is beyond discussion I think, It's so obvious that the piece has problems that they'll have to do something about it. I'm actually hoping Darkside Collectibles will ask me to ship it back to them and that they'll ship me a new one, whilst further dealing with IA.

Concerning the mark 42, is it me who is to precise about things, or should I actually make more of a claim out of it? :p

If it bothers you, you should make a claim. These pieces are too expensive to settle.

I'm counting down before going bat**** crazy all over the forums regarding IA.
I've been kept waiting 8 months now for a replacement 1:2 torso and about 5 month for a new 1:1 helmet.

I was told to destroy the pieces with issues so have Iron Man parts all over the place while STILL waiting!

Same situation I'm in with IA. Promised replacement legs would be shipped to the distributor with their Hulkbuster orders. Well Hulkbusters been shipping out in batches and still no word on my 1/2 MK VII legs. I also had to smash the damaged piece. Any advice to proceed would be greatly appreciated. I'm way beyond PayPal protection at this point. Attorney General? I out 2k with parts sitting in my basement.

So... I've asked twice now if they could just take it back in stock and send me another piece, as they still have some left.

They told me they contacted IA to see what to do about this. Might be that they're holding out until they get an answer.

Guess I'll wait up until Tuesday to see if they come back at me with a solution, if not I'll just reship it on my own and ask for a refund. Pffff

I was told shipping of replacement parts has been pushed back to Feb/Mar. This is after 8 months and being told Oct, then Nov and then Dec.

Perhaps a stupid question, but why not ask a refund? They have clearly not met the terms of the sale and as such you should normally be entitled to a refund, I'd think?

That will be my next move.

I got lucky. The retailer confirmed that they still had several pieces of the Mark 39 in stock, so I'm shipping mine back tomorrow in order to receive a new one.

The shipping cost can only be reimbursed later, when IA agrees, but at least I won't have to wait a year for a new piece, so that's something.

I am in a similar situation where the legs were broken on my 1/2 MK VII nearly a year ago. Every month the replacement part promised was pushed back. By Sept I did ask for a refund and put in a Paypal dispute. I lost that dispute because of an unknown policy to me at the time. Multiple payments disqualify you from refund. So knowing how this hobby operates on deposit and payment one year or so later, most collectors would be in trouble as well. This is the first time I ever had damage to a statue. So now I'm holding my breath for Mar-Apr as told to me by seller in Asia. Hoping its the truth and not lip service or its a $2k USD bath I'm taking.
