I agree but not when every single statue is museum. One of the reasons why I like and enjoy the Turtles statues from Prime 1. Variety in poses and some excitement to them. The transformers stuff....nah. But I do understand why they are museum...if they were dynamic...the display area would be too big.

For the record....this is no shot at Prime 1's quality. Outside of the Prime....their quality seems to be exceptional.

Well, in the first place, i just got my answer from their FB page, they confirmed me that Jim Lee-frank Miller Bats will be produced in 1/3 Scale. So nothing has changed on this front. I am very happy about that.:cool:

Many fans were delighted for the 1/5 line,due to the costs being lower and the fact that SSC also makes 1/4 statues right now for the DC universe. Marketwise, i don't know if this is the best move for one company producing the same characters in 1/4 and 1/3 scale as well.

But to be fair I am blown away by a few by the few masters like Steve, Newman, Miller, and Harbottle. With so much coming I just don't have room for so much without dumping the less wow stuff to me. Market has to crash sometime. Lol since we can expect to replace any of statues at a moments noticed once we find something better from new releases to just a change of scale, etc. just expect it and don't over spend when you don't have to on companies who over priced statues and huge ES. Get items on discounts, coupons, and try to not PO right away unless it's a super low in demand ES decent priced item. Everything can be had sooner or later. Not jumping to PO does not mean people can't have all the statues they like. If we buy them at a discount we can still at least for the most part not lose too much when it's time to get rid of them for newer stuff that will keep on coming. Well imo for anyone who is on a budget. Multimillionares and billionares please ignore my message. Yes I know I'm greedy sorry for the inconvience.

The way the tweet is written it sounds like only comic DC is confirmed, whereas Marvel is not as clear. I hope it's comic and X-Men and Fantastic Four are on the table.

I don't see myself rushing to sell off Sideshow or XM pieces though. First there's no guarantee that suddenly P1 is going to be better. Second, who knows how long it's going to take them to get to specific characters. While it would be great to see them start with characters that neither company has tackled, the heavy hitters are what will bring in the dollars. And with so many licenses, how often will these come out.

I am glad to see that that this is a global license which will certainly level the playing field.

For me the main thing will be picking and choosing. I Imagine that is going to be a mix of SS, XM and P1.

However I think they did have exclusive North American rights, however, if they partner with Prime1 and distribute, then they get a license percentage and a distribution percentage.

This seems like the most logical scenario. Whether Sideshow is selling their own Marvel creations or Prime 1's, they still get a piece of the action. The partnership also gives Prime 1 access to the lucrative North American market which they wouldn't have access to otherwise.

Totally agree SONICobra, i just finished watching Season 2, and i am thrilled by this Series, kudos to Drew Goddard for mastefully transferring the essence and quality of a greatly written comic book to a live action Series.
i've enjoyed watching both season more than any other recent Marvel movie in the big screen. I'd defeinetely want statues based on the chracters' of the Daredevil Series

Yes, since there isn't any other company who is really invested in producing mcu movie characters, i would be so happy, if Prime 1 announces Marvel Movie or TV Series Statues and in Daredevil, Elektra and Punisher i would definitely be interested in.

i wouldn't be surprised if they eventually got to it. they already have the dc license for their tv stuff. why not marvel tv stuff?

Why is it every time there is a new iteration of some character outside of comics (movie, TV, game) everyone loses their minds and demands it as a statue, yet in the comics they get a new design (such as 52) and everyone rebels and demands the original designs?

well personally I have no issue with the evolution of costume designs, I actually prefer most new 52 designs over the classic looks (with superman and darkseid the exceptions)

that has nothing to do with me wanting a Netflix daredevil statue though, for me I just think its one of the coolest things to see some of my favorite characters realized in real life. when its done right its amazing (daredevil, dredd) and then theres the misses like cap from the first avengers movie. I don't collect many movie statues but I do like getting the ones where I feel the character was done justice and the movie / show was amazing

I agree 100%. In fact, I would add that I also like it when companies get creative and make thier own design changes, from thier own creative vision of the character. I am all for that sort of thing, as long as the end product looks amazing. As much as I love the classic character designs from my childhood days of reading comics and as much as I would like to own some of those designs, I have absolutely no problem with the modernization or updating of costumes. I also really like many of the new 52 designs.

I am also not a big movie statue collector, but its not like that's a set rule for me or anything. As long as its a great film and the statue is extremely well done, I am open to buying a movie statue. Unfortunately, most of the movie statues I have seen made over the years just didn't wow me enough to ultimately make the purchase.

I do realy like the Dardevil costume for season 2 on Netflix and I think the first 2 seasons have been thoughly enjoyable. If someone put out really high quaity statue of that Dardevil, I would very likely buy one.

We are all missing the obvious here folks, Prime 1 obtained the Marvel license so that they can produce more Optimus Prime statues and even more Optimus variants!
