hot damn :o unsure if posting the pics here is ok so I won't, but they look great! Only complaint/advice I'd have is to add some shading to Dante's "coat" tails in devil trigger mode.

Those are just 3d color tests. The actual prototypes are not yet ready ;) Yes 1/6. But the combined diorama is about 4 feet long

Awesome :) From the smaller pictures in the email I couldn't even tell it was the cg sculpt ;p

I think displaying them as two separate dioramas would look the best (trigger and regular separate) but that's just what I would do :P Having the option is great!

From what kinetiquette reply to my post on FB there are 2 sets so 2 different preorders.

The 2 sets are dante normal/dt and vergil normal/dt

I hear you on that. Personally I've always hated Vergil. I don't get his popularity though I really like Nelo Angelo as an antagonist.

I think if I got these sets I would just sell off the Vergil parts of both of them. The great thing is that both Dantes look to connect to each other through the base so it would still create a diorama of sorts, nonsensical as it would be.

Plus I imagine they will do it like SF and release more characters down the road. Could have Dante facing off against Trish for example.

BTW, you should look into Soul Reaver ;) Would make for some awesome dioramas.

I believe each set will include only one character in both forms, so you can opt out on the Vergil set.

Hopefully we see Nero as the next character with his Devil Bringer arm shooting out.

They are not exactly identical. In DMC4 their face sculpts in the game are slightly different. Trust us, we referred to the in-game models :)

I'm guessing that each individual statue is about 12 inches in length. I agree about the space issue. I would have to display the diorama in pairs in order to fit them in my cabinets.

I had to sit and think if I really wanted to spend that much for these statues; but since the shopping cart and page transition over to PayPal took a bit longer than usual due to all the high traffic gave me a chance to decide. I've loved these characters ever since the original Devil May Cry came out in 2001. I've seen the effort and detail Kinetiquettes put in with Evil Ryu and Oni and with that level of work combined with these characters helped seal the deal for me. I doubt any other company will be releasing these characters in this size with the same level of craftsmanship. If these were 1/4 scale I would have passed on them regardless of my love of the characters; I just don't have the space for them. :(

Just checked the shipping if I would had ordered from BBTS here in the states. Total estimated shipping would be 163.49 by FedEx. So I paid less on the statues but paid more on shipping. I would have saved $82.51 on the overall transaction of getting both statue sets. The downside to ordering with BBTS is they take longer to receive their product (sometimes months behind other companies) and if I have any issues with damages I would rather deal directly with the Kinetiquettes rather than a middle-man; especially with the more expensive/high quality statues such as these. I also appreciate the fact that Kinetiquettes gives a free, exclusive art print of each character with purchase.

We spotted a product sample in the wild recently. The pictures that surfaced are from a chinese kollector that received both sets last month.
Although they were scheduled to be shipped in March, we decided to reinforce Vergil's package to increase security during shipping and to make sure those long awaited pieces arrives in one piece to everyone. Right now, we are aiming to ship them as soon as possible and we hope we can resume shipping procedures by the end of this month."
