Is this line done before it even started? Was really looking forward to this but it seems to have taken a back seat to other licenses. :tumblew:
I've already been putting money aside for the busters but it looks like it will be going to Conan...
Was Chronicle ever going to do the 4 Ghostbusters or just SFX prop type items?

Pretty sure they were in for 1/6 scale ghosts and the busters too. I'm pretty sad about not seeing anything. I believe there was even at one time some talk about a possible 1/1 Slimer.

I asked a bunch of times but never got an answer. Hope this thread sheds some light, I would kill for a 1 to 1 slimer

Ghost Heads will be very happy soon...
I'd be happy with 1:6 if it includes the ecto-1.
Without the car I'd prefer 1:4.

Mattel tried to make the 1/6 Ecto 1, I had one on pre-order. They didn't get enough orders to justify the run, doubt that has changed now...

Is there really no way to make it happen?
Create a poll and if that looks promising open pre-orders with a refund if not enough orders come in to justify the run.
What is your opinion on this approach Paul?

Hypothetically speaking and guesstimating...how much would a 1:1 Slimer potentially run?
Too bad there will be no ecto-1...
Will the busters at least be in 1:4 scale?

1:4 Ghostbusters are being produced by HCG.
Guys if someone is already producing a scale, you can't double license. Besides I wouldn't make a 1:4 due to the fact that HCG is making 1:4.

1/6 poseable figures are the way to go here. With HT overly-focusing on Marvel/Star Wars, at the expense of other licenses, this'd be a grail for many a collector. I'm still waiting on 1/6 Jim Henson Ninja Turtles too, although I suspect ThreeZero will do them eventually...

Why the thumbs down? I've got their AoU Cap and it is damn good.
Would have loved Chronicle to have produced them but it doesn't seem like their cup of tea from what has been done previously.

Looks like Iron studios are doing 1/10 scale busters. Not what I'm after and HCG don't have a good rep so I'm still hanging hope on Chronicle to maybe do 1/6th scale.
And yes, there will only ever be one!

Looks like both HCG and NECS are offering a 1/1 scale Slimer now.
Paul, did you guys still have access to the 1/1 Slimer that was mentioned a while back on the forums?
I would much rather support Chronicle if I end up going for a life sized Slimer replica. :/

We passed on the 1-1, making 50 pieces wasn't in our wheelhouse.
Also this piece is not cast from the original molds, it's recast from the one Steve Johnson had sculpted for a display at XFX.

That's fairly major if so as they're claiming it's from the original movie molds, which is basically false advertising. That link isn't working btw

Very disappointed by this news. I was really looking forward to Chronicle tackling this. Things were quiet on the Ghostbusters front I was fearing the worst.

I see from the newsletter that CC are doing 1/6th scale posable figures now. Must be what these will be then. Interested to see whether they'll come out like hot toys quality.

My interest in Chronicle was mainly because of prop replicas, so still hoping they still produce them

It's a nice piece from NECA; plus Slimer isn't a particularly detailed sculpt. I don't think a high-end 1:1 would equal bang for the buck.
Good move from Chronicle on making 1/6 Ghostbusters as poseable figs. If the quality matches HT, they'll sell in a big way. The company that comes along, matches HT's quality and delivers licenses that are more along the lines of NECA's cult choices will clean up. Was disappointed to see that HT were only producing two figures from T:Genisys and passed on Prometheus.

I will patiently wait until I see what a 1/6 Venkman looks like if that is indeed coming.... my pre-order for Venkman HCG exc converted to order from wait list in less than 12 hours so I made my first payment today on that(I know, it isn't great by any means but it's one of their better products up for grabs imho for just a mere $399 and payment plan....) No problem cancelling it if CC 'Just Brings It' with a posable 1/6 Venkman in mixed media.
