Makes sense... They already did a lot of Frazetta pieces and drew a lot of attention to thier company with them... Now they can spend some time on thier comic statues and the Greek/historical statues where they don't have to pay license fees and have total artistic license to work. Maybe down the road we will see some more come out.

I don't think they will do any pieces they have to pay a lisence for... Why would they? All thier original pieces are selling great and I think they have a pretty loyal customer base for their original works.

Now I might be wrong because they are working on that Tarzan piece. But maybe Tarzan is like Bigfoot and no one owns the liscence rights to it.

I am getting all the Greek Gods and I liked the 1/7 scale warriors they used to do (Achilles, Leonidas, William Wallace, King Arthur, etc) and would consider them on a case by case basis but I know they won't go back to that scale :deadh:

They did a silver and gold King Arthur when they were still producing Bowen scale (1/7). I have the gold Arthur and I like it a lot.

I like the 3 musketeers idea proposed earlier, depending on how they look I might be interested in those.

I am glad I got all the Greek gods when they came out, they are hard to come by now. Ares and Athena look great and when all 9 are together I bet they will look pretty damn good.

Going from the concept art, it looks like Cerberus is part of the Hades statue... Though who knows... Maybe they will be seperate... My money is on a combined piece though.

I'm pretty sure we will be seeing Greek myth sculpts for a good long time. They just released the medusa and they have the poster up for Hades. They might have slowed down on them a little to see what Yamoto is doing with their 1/6 scale Greek editions so they can be sure to blow them out of the water...

To me, the 1/6 scale stuff seems like toys or glorified, impossible action figures... But the huge 1/4 scale stuff seems like an actual "piece" and really makes a statement. You can't ignore Conan:The Sacrifice when you go into a room... It just screams "wow".

More along the lines of what this thread is for... No a continues effort to escape adulthood, ive been playing a lot of Fallout... And the new robot expansion. I love building robots! Anyway, I was thinking it would be pretty cool is ARH did some kind of robot sculptures, mixing them with ARH girls. If it worked for a giant gorilla hand, why not a robot!!! And it would be especially cool if it was backed up with some type of sci-fi or post apocoliptic comic series!

I don't think you will ever see robots. Terminators will probably be the only thing that will sell robot related, and those have been covered by other companies.

I saw the original Astria sculpt, from before the comic, and she was definitely very sci-fi... So at some level, the interest is there. I defitly can see them doing some kind of rocket girl story in the future... And on top of that, There has also been some interest in doing pin-up style statues... Space girl pin-ups + robots.... Starting to not sound so crazy.....

Whenever a post like this comes up like "What would you like to see ARH sculpt next" I get worried because a few active posters who may or may not even collect ARH Statues pipe up and throw out ideas of what they would like to see on a whim. I would rather see people put some thought into if they themselves would actually buy "Said" Statues. The frazetta line is a perfect example. A few active posters raved about wanted them but when they numbers finally came in they did not sell as well as hoped. I suggested to ARH having a log of statue history purchases for each buyer and send them a feedback form for website/Statue Ideas etc. That way they hear from the people that actually collect and not just people who throw out random ideas. Just my thoughts.

For me the Holy Grail of statues would be a 1/4 Frazetta Silver Warrior. Yeah, just a pipe dream as ARH no longer has the Frazetta license and the size would be gigantic. It will forever remain a dreamers wish. Thank you ARH for a few great Frazetta pieces!

I was having this nude statue/character discussion with my wife in regards to Ghost in the Shell. They should have had Major completely nude. She is a cyborg, so it wouldn't have mattered armor wise, but her enemies would be stunned for a moment when a naked chick pops out. All battle bots of the future should be "fully sculpted" for that reason.

Also, Scarlett Johansson's role in that film would have been more appealing to me.

Im curious what the next release really will be. Or when it will be. It amazes me how Arahom has time to do half the stuff he does. He should give up sculpting and run classes in time management!!! With him seemingly having his hands in everything it amazes me each time he releases something. Plus, as time goes on, I would think he would be getting exponentially busier as he has more and more statues needing to be made... I guess it's a nice problem to have. Maybe he will hire another person to help.

Anyway.... I just got an old truck that I'm restoring so for me to part with my cash now for a statue it's really going to have to be something else... and ARH has some competition now. Honestly, I hope SRH doesn't come out with anything new for a bit. There issue is not a lack of cool ideas. The issue is that they can't produce a statue. The coolest piece in the world is not going to sell well because there is very little confidence in the company.

They need to get the last of the China statues gone and quiet up the Sha-Ryn mess... which they seem to be doing. Then people need to see the Valkyrie, succubus, Eve and Arkhalla in collectors hands.

When that happens, and some confidence is restored... then release a killer statue idea.

The Mythology pieces are not the reason ARH is in this mess! It's all the other crap ARH been making and doing!
