I saw a lot of people on Facebook complaining about Link's black outline on the lower part of his eyes or something. I don't see what all the hubbub is about. I think it looks great but if all the complaining turns it into something better then cool.

Can't wait to see the full boat with that really promising cloth sail!

In my opinion, my Toon Link Amiibo seems to capture the essence of Link more than the sculpt of this piece. I hope that changes once I see the whole piece.

I feel the same way. I think it's his proportions . The F4F version that was teased seems "lanky" to me. Hopefully once I see him on the boat he will look better to me .

Kind of a missed opportunity to make the end all, be all of this piece. I was thinking there would be switchout parts for the treasure hunting. There is no way that mast will come attached. They could have easily done a few additional options with the ship and Link. The light up option is ok. But not as necessary as like on a character like Samus. But for the price there should be some switchouts. Now there is nothing stopping a figure company from coming out and making this with those options.

I'll probably watch the edition size see what else is in the works around the time this is released.

I totally get you man. It's really, really well made. But link is twice the size of Amiibo. King of red lions is...well, he's the base. and the rest is just the sail. Nothing wrong with the piece, but I was really debating this for the longest time today, should i buy it. Listening to the 'Ocean theme' from Windwaker did not help.
But for once in my life, I acted like a mature person, I am not going to buy it. Again, I love it, just not for this price (edit - just bought Windwaker HD and will play it, and then either won't buy, or pull the trigger and buy it xD)

I bought gamecube when RE4 came out, and Windwaker was my 1st Zelda (long story, I know I missed out, but it's something that has been remedied). Loved every bit of it, graphics included. But that's because I had no experience with previous games.

I love it! I'm pretty happy with the size considering its scale with WW Ganondorf. That Zant and Light Suit Samus do make it looks pretty small though, but then again they are pretty huge.

The only question is : regular or exclusive ? I don't know how reliable and durable the led-lighting system is. I have never got any collectible statue with that sort of sophisticated bonus, hence my doubts.

I think it'll be 1/6 like the other Link on series. It was inside the booklet that came with the Best Buy pvc Link statue they did so I don't think it's the secret one. They've confirmed they are making a 1/4 TP Link too.

They have that a semi-local store (45 minutes away, both figures and base) from me if you are interested. Shame everything was 20% off a few weeks ago due do a move/reopening sale. They don't have an online store but they're called third eye comics if you want to contact em. If they can't do I can leg it out there and nab it for you (but you'll have to pay tax). It looks pretty good in person btw.
