That link has I assume the concepts for the statues. I didn't even fully play Angel of Darkness. I heard it sucked and the first part I played wasn't that great. So I would vote for the other game.

I wonder if these will be in the style of the games too? Maybe I would go for an original and anniversary styled Lara. The first two concepts seem to be from the first few games. The others have to be from Legend or Underworld and of course the reboot.

I'll take all six. Voted for the 6th statue to have the Chronicles catsuit. Angel of darkness is the weakest TR IMO even though I like her outfit.

Did they post any other updates about this line? Timelines, concept art? With the other version delayed till the end of this year, I can't see more than one or maybe two of these coming out next year. This seems like it will be a three or four year statue line.

The 1/6 scale was decided to keep the statues *affordable* and to take up less space should you decide to collect all 6 Lara's.

Yeah, $280 is a bit much. I know Tweeterhead is getting away with a similar price point for 1/6 (while most of the DC Designer statues are turning out pretty great at a much lower price point), but there does seem to be more going on with some of those. I mean, for an extra $60, I can get the 1/4 scale Temple of Osiris statue.

I get the design choice and like the whole idea behind this line, but I do think it's a tough sell... I can see me getting these, but I am in no hurry to pre-order. I'd be surprised if the exclusive sells out before it ships. And when I think of a complete set costing almost $1900 shipped... I don't know. What would've been a no-brainer a few years ago is definitely not a sure thing.

Plus, I really want to see how quickly Gaming Heads pumps these out before I'm really going to consider jumping into this line. After having the Temple of Osiris statue pre-ordered for a LONG time before giving up on it, I'm going to really need to see some dates met before I'm going to commit to a line of six statues that are designed to be displayed together.

I’m sure the newer game renditions will have more details, but the price is a little on the high end. I bought that Temple of Osiris one from an EU retailer for $325 shipped. If I want to pick up this TR1 EX from GH, I have to pay $360 shipped from their "EU warehouse". Doesn't really make sense, at all.

And, is it just me, or does charging the same amount for an unpainted statue seem kind of dishonest? I don't mean to bash GH, most of my statues are from them, but this release really rubs me the wrong way I guess.

Yeah, BBTS is sometimes interesting for us international collectors because they sometimes sell stuff we otherwise can't get. But with the shipping and import fees, GH statues are far cheaper from the official site. We are now at a point that regulars locally are more expensive then direct. Almost everything on their site falls under the $4 shipping. In fact, I don't think I've run into anything that doesn't. Even the Imaginarium Arts Optimus is $4, and that's hell of a lot bigger than this in every way. Plus, it says it qualifies for the $4 shipping right on the page. :p

$300 is to much for these particular 1:6 statues, they're very basic looking and there's not a lot of detail to them given there based on the computer game models, they should of been priced at around $220.... I'll be keeping an eye on Ebay in about 6-8 months after release for heavy discounts on the regular versions..

I know Tweeterhead got $300 for their Joker 1:6 statue but there is a ton of detail on that statue.

I believe she is the tallest at 21 inches. So that is the highest point of the diorama.

The cost on these is getting crazy but, it's Croft so I'm staying in. I do find it odd they start selling you the next one before they ship the last one. Maybe that helps to keep the line going and keep the serial numbers the same for those of us that have done that. I guess my biggest fear is they cancel the series and we never get the full set.

I’m figuring I can only really get one at this point. I already have a number of Lara statues, so one of these seems fine. Although we know what they are going to be, I kind of want to wait to see them all to decide, but at that point they’ll be selling out,

I would have chosen the Guardian Of Light one, but after they showed it I thought it was a bit lifeless. Now I’m considering the Rise one, but Id really like to see Legend first.

Target renders of the sculpts at least would have been nice to see going in, I guess is what I’m trying to say. The sketch of the whole Diorama isn’t enough to choose.

I’d hate to wait until they’re all revealed to decide I wanted the first one after all, and it’s long sold out.

This is actually quite annoying. Gaming Heads has no remorse for this either. They will not grant full refunds for the looooong delay. I am starting to think these statues ended up at the bottom of the ocean. I have the first two already and the second two on PO. The Angel of Darkness one is my most anticipated and not even announced. Get your crap together Gaming Heads.

I ordered AOD a few months back and noticed not a single monthly payment has been charged yet. Assuming there isn’t some mixup, I assume this means Gaming Heads knows they aren’t going to be shipping anywhere close to Q2 2022 (as indicated currently on their site) or they would’ve at least charged me one payment by now. (I signed up with the 8-month purchase plan.)

Curious if people set up monthly have been charged any months yet for Osiris, Rise or AOD? To me, it would be less annoying if they were just making an honest educated guess and were wrong, but the lack of payments charged to my card reveal otherwise. I’ve never ordered from them directly before so I don’t know - is this normal?

Lighting (possible flash in use), camera (angle/closeness) might all be playing a part of making the piece look less than favorable.
Her right eye (on the left side of the image) appears to be slightly out of position, compared to the prototype. These small details can make a big difference.

Regardless of the bad paint apps, even the sculpt looks different. I'm no expert but wouldn't they have the files to reprint the same sculpt or it doesn't work like this at all.

The hair doesn’t look like it’s as detailed anymore, or even the same shape. I was on the fence with this one as I have the 1/4 piece they put out so it felt like I was doubling up on Osiris Lara’s. I think I need to wait for more pics, but it’s not looking promising.

I was going to order the Rise version as well. I’m thinking that’s not going to come out well since she’s more realistic / less cartoony than this version.

Someone on Facebook posted more in hand images. None of these are my photos. Looks a bit wonky on her left eye, but otherwise not as bad. That hair is definitely not the prototype's though. The proto looked almost just like the 1/4 sculpt, so maybe they changed it to scale it down? I get why they would use the same sculpt and alter it, because the work's essentially done, but I'd prefer the more detailed hair honestly.

Gaming Heads posted on the original post that they were transparent with production images, but I could only find this one that had painted heads in it. All other painted photos were body only, and all other head photos were unpainted. They look OK here, so maybe there's just a few bad batchers? It's not the greatest of pictures to examine in detail though.

It's looking better there, but that hair definitely changed in the side wisps and the detailing. A bit hard to tell on the eyes, but from all the pics I've been seeing they don't appear to be close to the proto. Those first images definitely had a lot more distortion than initially believed. (Why can't anyone take good first photos!)

I would love to know the answer to this. I ordered the AOD statue well over a year ago using their payment plan. Not a single monthly payment has been charged. I have repeatedly asked Gaming Heads why, and they keep insisting the statue will be shipping soon and there's no issue with my card. (Except if it was actually shipping soon, I still owe 8 payments!)

Messaged them last month regarding my AoD order and they mentioned it will be shipped in April for the EU customers.

They still haven't shipped my rise exclusive order despite saying two weeks ago it was days away. I had to do the trouble ticket to get attention and they have finally charged my card and say will ship next week.

On a concerning note, friend of mine got the "collective" unpainted edition by mistake.

Let's hope that is not a trend. I'm guessing few would want to do custom paint jobs and order that one. Shipping must have got confused with "exclusive" and "collective" versions.
