The guy on Radd Titan's video is right, that's a great explosion base. It really makes the Sideshow Spider-Man base look even more disappointing.

The weathered gold is amazing too. I can't wait to see what they come up with for exclusives.

If this is not Prime 1's best statue to date...it sure as hell comes close! What a magnificent statue and I love the concept and fierce expression on the portrait. The colors are immaculate and just an overall bad ass statue! This is one of those statues I might buy just because it is so damn impressive!!

The best statue at the show is real close call between this, Berserk (might be my favorite at the show), Mr. Freeze, and the Guyver statues. Wow!!! This really stands out from the others in the GI Joe line!! Like exceptionally so.

I was hoping for more options since Snake Eyes has so many. They could have at least had him preparing to throw a snake like in the movie. But the price isn't as much as I expected either.

I'm starting to get concerned though about the line as the Exclusive Snake Eyes is still available. I don't know how Sideshow had it sold out and on the wait list before. Unless people cancelled since Prime 1 hasn't shown the updated Timber yet.

Never noticed his "skirt" before. I don't like that at all...

Also, I'm still disappointed at the fabric cape even if it would be impractical to do a cape like that in polystone.

A little less explosion would have been nice too, just to bring the height down a bit.

Wow, this statue is insanely cool and congrats to all who are picking it up! This will be a highlight of any collection. I never thought I would see the day of a Serpentor statue.

But with space at a premium for me, I will probably only be good for Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow, maybe a Scarlett if they make one of her or a Baroness if done right - and you know Prime 1 will do it right!

This is IMO the most impressive GI JOE collectible (toy, statue, underwear, etc) that I have ever seen. That Destro unpainted statue was looking pretty sweet as well! I applaud Prime 1 for such an aggressive statue. Easily will be a contender for SOTY for me...whenever year it comes out that is.

yup, shot him with an arrow right through the forehead during the cobra civil war is the 70ish issue.

Apparently, Doctor Mindbender keep his body in case he need it , but serpentor was never revived.

Cobra commander was the bad ass in the comics though, not the buffon he was portrayed as in the cartoon

Serpentor didn't have the fan base like Commander did...CC was indeed bad ass. Serpentor wanted control of the Cobras, Commander had control of the cobras...

Serpentor is easily one Prime 1's top 5 statues IMO. A true work of art!

PCS might make one, but I would be surprised if they did. A throne one would also be awesome. The Joe license in statues are mostly duds, Palisades, F4F, SSC, P1 didn't sell many pieces or make many characters. PCS should make a
throne and comes with Serpentor or CC, and Serpentor on Air Chairot. So glad that P1 asked fans what they wanted and made those pieces or would not have gotten this Serpentor.

I don't get a company like PCS, they run the company like fools. To run a company that has to sell products you have to run the company correctly, and keep customers happy. PCS does not do that, so people refuse to buy and others write how they were cheated.

With all of the complaints about PCS and refunding issues I would not be surprised if the lack of response and refund turn around time is because of tight accounting meaning limited cash reserves and whatever comes in goes out for manufacturing, payroll, etc. This means on shaky financial ground. Do we really think the problem with them is responding to an email or phone call? Trouble ahead there....

But this is about Serpentor. Cool to see a PCS version but only when in stock. Don't think this Prime 1 version will be beat or seen again at this scale and detail.

Joe Mini Series and you got use to fast as a dofus, Serpentor got built up with 5 episodes as this great leader and turned out to be just like CC.

I still remember reading the comics as a kid, then watching the cartoons. Even back then I noticed the difference between the two. The comics were much better I thought characters like serpentor were not like their powder puff versions in the cartoons.

I've never purchased a Prime 1 product before. Most of my statues have been Sideshow... and they've only taken a few minutes (aside from trying to get capes and what not to hang properly)

Varies on the statue and person, I spent about 3 to 4 hours on Swave, UM, SS on Throne. that's with opening boxes that takes a while by itself. Was stupid and hurried with my IS Spider-Man statue and Ocks tentacle came out and broke, that was not fun to repair. You would think with so many years of collecting I wouldn't do that, with couple hundred statue, so I went super slow with my newer pieces.

Yup, really looking forward to seeing this piece. In the end I didn't get it due to the aesthetics of the skirt and also not liking the fabric cape. That said, it's still a very impressive piece.

Hmm when i assembled him, i had to start his left foot first then right foot followed in properly. If it does not work, i am sure SS will follow through! Make sure to send pictures, they will ask for them.

Yes, here is a picture of how far off the leg is. The post hole is in the middle and the peg should be straight down, not angled. I've been trying for about 2 hours and its not going unless I squeeze/flex the legs. I don't want to risk breaking it though...

I'm glad I'm not the only one who had these problems. I had to apply a little pressure to squeeze the legs so that the statue would fit. I pray no damage comes of it somewhere down the line.

I don't know if the old hairdryer trick will work on a statue that large but you could try that, when people received Bowen statues whose legs sometimes didn't line up with the holes they used a hairdryer to gently heat up the statues leg to make the polystone just say pliable enough to move into place. Randy Bowen himself used to recommend doing this trick.

But like I said this may be a bit too big for that.

I'll try the hairdryer trick too. I own around 200 Bowen's and believe it or not, I never had to do that once for any of those even though Randy recommended. Lucky I guess since it was fairly common (especially with the last waves).

Prima Facie this doesn't sound like a big deal in relation to your resolution but actually upon further introspection, if true, it is quite troubling. I realize particulars are different with every situation but still.

Sideshow is still #1 when effectively resolving customer issues. They make provisions for their own products, and probably some for the other brands they carry. However, Prime1 acts like a third rate Chinese knock off company when it comes to owning up to their issues. They're unanswerable to us gaijin customers. So, while I will continue to hold them in high regard for their finished products so far, I've better take caution PO'ing from them going forward. No real need to PO, since all their stuff is readily available once in stock, giving me ample time to see first impressions and reviews.

Sideshow themselves have recommended the "using a dryer" method to soften the statue so that it will fit inside hole cut outs.

I had an issue with my Serpentor, which came last year. The statue would not fit into the base. Contacted Sideshow and they told me upfront that it would take time due to how Prime 1deals and produces their statues/replacement parts. Well, here we are, 6 months later, the replacement is here! It just came so I need to see if tall works out. I will post once I have assembled it. Sad part is, I have to break the original one. Other than the it not fitting the base, its perfect.

I prefer waiting though as many old collectors have fallen victim to receiving their statues latter and not having replacements or having their problems ignore completely because it was considered minor and not worth part of the replacement stock.

I pulled the trigger on him at the end of February (around the 22nd), direct from Prime 1. He shipped out near the beginning of March... one of the two packages got stuck in Hawaii for a week; it took reaching out to the FedEx CEO to have somebody figure out the issue and get the package moving again. But it finally arrived yesterday.

I really like it. I had no real fitting issues with mine, except with the cape... it’s super fidgety. I found where all the short rods plug in. I’m guessing the long, exposed rods are just there to lift the cape a little? In any case, the body plugged into the glider perfectly.

GI Joe and SFII were linked in the toyline, so I’ve decided to display them together. I think the Cobra emperor looks pretty neat next to the Shadaloo dictator.

Congrats. I love this piece. The cape is a pain in the rear to get in those holes. You are correct about the rods. The long ones are supposed to get covered by the cape when raised It takes a ton of playing around to get right. AK Batgirl's is a pain too.

They are beautiful pieces. I paid over retail for my Storm Shadow but i'm really happy with him. Im missing Serpentor, he is still available from the Prime 1 site but shipping to Canada is crazy so its a no go. I've never seen a review on Scarlett, I think she is an underrated piece.
