I was actually surprised at some of the negativity on FB towards this everyone wants more videogame statues but more companies doing high quality anime statues like Tsume is a good thing in my book and i couldn't think of anyone better than F4F.

Depends, if it's a character on a simple base then yeah 1/6 is only 12".

But my Tsume One Piece Zoro and Usopp are 1/7 and have huge base effects and are 2 of the biggest statues i own.

i'd prefer them to do a smaller scale like 1/6 and go to town on the base, in one punch mans case they could do a huge base as one of the bad guys.

Really need to get the word out there to the anime and statue fans. As you mentioned that most of our members and fans are video game oriented. So its a tough struggle up ahead, but hopefully we will get there:)

I cant really reveal much for now until the launch day. lol but im sure our answers to your questions will be pleasing to the ear:)

Whats most important is to present Saitama to the best that we can and what is currently out there.

Something I do want to touch on is that we want to create new and popular anime as well as plenty of the classics too. We are all open to ideas, so we arent going in one direction and then dropping out. Gaming statues are still going strong for us and we are on track for plenty more down the line. So hopefully thats reassuring words to many:)

1:4 scale all the way!!! Dont listen to the facebook people. If you want to stand out from all the other companies, imo put some sizeable statues on the shelves that are gonna stand out and not get lost in the mess.

Yeah I really hope that F4F goes 1/4 scale, the market is already flooded out there with smaller PVC figures.

Like many, I started with the smaller stuff but have moved on to larger scale over the years. We need people to produce high quality anime statues for the collectors that have the space for them.

People look at price, but I would take one good high quality 1/4 scale over 6 little 1/6 or 1/8 toys :laugh:

I'd say Vegeta is a much more complicated statue than Saitama though, it has a huge amount of clear resin and has LEDS running through it all also.

I still agree though that 700 euro was still a lot.

Saitama isn't sold out. We took it offline as we are in the process of updating copyright info and waiting for further response.

Once we go back online, we will extend the preorder date as well as the discount codes for the x amount of days it was taken offline.

250 ex for Saitama the main character is pretty bad considering it was one of the hottest anime at the time in the US. I can't see mumen rider getting made even though I wouldn't buy him. The thing is there's lots of fanboy collectors that just like to stick to their favorite companies and wouldn't buy from another company. There's PCS SF collectors that bash the prototypez SF. XM and Prime 1 have a much larger following than F4F.

All depends, 250 ex isnt a problem if they sell 750 regulars along with them. PCS sold out of their Heman/Battlecat EX combo announcing a success, but then the regulars tanked killing the line. Just looking at some of their latest releases, they got Jin Kazama at 220 and Sonic at 375. P1 90's turtles ex is only 350.

A lot depends on the license and factory deals. You right be right tho, hope not.

The head on the right is the new one. At first it looked like they made changes to the eyebrows but the proto pics also have the thin eyebrows...

I think its the chin, it looks like they smoothed his chin out so its not so pointy. I like it better I think.

Really awesome guys, way better in person too. Love the extra touches. Lifting handles on the styrofoam box along with the character etching is a first for me. Another first- the piece is better than the prototype. Reg head resculpt is a real winner. Really hope nycc gives them a good boost, they deserve it. Cant wait to see Genos now!

yeah man, I think the largest anime pieces I had were 1/5 and 1/4.5. Only a couple though, hard to find pieces. Love this new 1:4 stuff. Its just so much more impressive. Another plus is actually getting some male characters. Seems like Japan only ever caters to t&a- you only ever get a couple female characters usually from most animes.

Waiting sucks but you'll definately like it. Hope to see some Genos sneaks soon.

Just a quick write up on this. I do think F4F smashed this and they got the aesthetic sooooo right.

I would have liked more to the base but i understand why F4F did it to keep the price down but for $350 and 1/4 scale i think this is a must have piece for any OPM fan.

Well this is around the same size as the Tsume version at 24 inches and the focus is on Saitama so you get a lot of Saitama on this statue compared to the Tsume version.

Any anime statue in 1/4 has a lot of presence for me as its a relatively new thing...

I think collectors have good choise for 1/4 or 1/6 scales which is no bad thing.

The Tsume headsculpts dont look so good, especially the derpy. Its great if you want a monster statue though- the monster is the first thing you see when you look at the piece. He’s got the greater presence of the two.

I’m tempted to get some of that sand stucco stuff from HD and work it into the cracks of the base. Might be a fun project.

No way in hell they are making Genos or Jin now...if they did i'd be absolutely amazed....and it's one of the things that's frustrated me with F4F over the years....they're lack of commitment to certain lines.

Second he was sold in the antiquated order system they used to do where they put the statue up for PO for 2 weeks and after those 2 weeks they close orders not matter how many they have sold.

So Saitama only did ok numbers...and lets face it F4F still have issues making an impact with there pieces ( which baffles me ) in the industry now and they made very little impact back then...

But those of us who did order Day 1 did so for a number of reason but mainly because they promised at the time that Genos was near completion and Sonic and Mumen rider were well into 3D (they even showed renders) and they were committed to the line.

Same thing with Jin and Samurai Champloo, Mugen only did ok numbers so they didn't bother with Jin.

They are teasing Morrigan and Dante which have been in development for at least 3 years...so maybe there is some hope.
