The exceptions he mentioned were Batman (obviously) and Harley (very different costume from the games). That´s probably their logic, but I agree it really sucks. I´m sure most people would much prefer Hush´s Nightwing.

I think this will be THE Modern Comic Batman statue to own.

Personally if I can only have ONE it would be the Dark Knight Returns Miller version. Only because that is my favorite comic of all time and had such a tremendous impact on me.

Lol; I get where you're coming from. My wife hates "wrinkly old man Batman". That and Vampire Bats are the two versions she always turns her nose up at :laugh:
For me I just have such a disdain for Frank Miller post TDKR/Yr1 and the way some view that 4 issue series as the gospel as to how Batman should "always" be depicted. That said, FM Bats wouldn't be the candidate as the sole/centre piece Batmam for my own collection. Assuming he is as spectacular as everything else P1 has done, I will be getting the Jim Lee Batman for sure.

That's why I cancelled all my 1/3 batman game line. Now just waiting to see what comes out before buying any of the over saturated batman lines. Just way too much to buy all of it. Also he's a self taught artist who broke records on that x-men spin off book. Now I think cable could be my favorite male character in comics. So bada**! As long as cable lives. He reminds me of his creator. Deadpool is great too!

Funny that you mentioned that. I remember watching a behind the scenes video with Jim Lee at the WB Interactive studios when they were doing the DC Universe Online game with Sony. Lee did all the initial art and designs for the game.

Partway through he self deprecated himself as he laughingly provided a monologue about the game artists cursing him because his art/characters do not properly translate into 3D space, insinuating he "has been doing it wrong". :laugh:

o be honest he may be onto something as, IMHO, Koto seems to be the only company to do it well despite a plethora of attempts.

I can understand doing Superman and Batman, since Lee has definitive takes on those two. I'm usually always up for more Sirens, but with these 1:3 prices, I don't want another Catwoman with the AK one finally showing progress. The AK line has been great for spotlighting villains that Sideshow hasn't touched for whatever reason. I'm hoping we get a Clayface, Riddler, or Talia. I'm not a fan of the Hush character, but I never thought I'd be interested in a Flashpoint Bats or Azrael until seeing what P1 actually achieved with them.

The giant batarang makes more sense on this than the Iron Studios 1:3 (where it bugs me) because it's his grappling hook. Someone on the Freaks board mentioned wishing the render had more stylized musculature to better resemble Lee's art, which I agree with, especially since P1 actually has the Hush license and not the video game skin loophole they worked with the Miller piece.

Good point, id like to think theres a chance of this line living on past their first five releases. I would find it hard to believe they dont sell as well if not better than their arkham line (and theyre sure as hell getting their moneys worth with that license with all the characters theyre doing)

Kelvin said in a comment back then that they were rulling out characters that were already being made in the Arkham line. The only exceptions were Batman and Harley (since her classic costume and the ones from the games are very different). That's probably their reasoning and maybe why they didn't make an Ivy for the Arkham line.

Bottom line is it's based on the Arkham Knight line, so it's not like it's an original design by Prime 1. It's straight from the game.

I expect lots of new reveals from their anime & computer game licenses, they said they have a huge are reserved with 120 pieces on display.
