only confirmed that the cape won't be cloth but sculpted. Might still be that something else will be mixed media :)

Zant and Ganondorf were mixed media. Those are the ones I can think off with my limited memory... curse you pregnancy brain :p but I thought there were more...

Ah yeah you're probably right. I don't have these so didn't jump to my mind either.

PS: I don't even have the pregnancy excuse for my ----ty memory, I'm just a prime candidate for Alzheimer.

I always prefer a sculpted cape. Only issue for me is that it can become a space eater.

I hope she is far out. Ever since F4F stepped up their game on revealing more statues. I can no longer keep up. I hope she isn't available for a while. Plus they delayed 2 of the statues I have on order from them. Not including statue from other companies. I need a break, money wise.

I'll probably go for the definitive, putting the turn table in along with the other features and the changes they talked about put me over the edge.

I think the definitive version is great for people that are just starting this line. But it's super awkward that she'll be displayed in this amazing display case away from the others in this line. I would be all over the display case if I didn't have the others.

So as much as I want to get the display case I can't bring myself to do it. I will get her but getting the case seems out of place. Also I believe it only has the black lights, and not normal lights. I guess you can place a normal light on top of the display case later

Really odd edition honestly. Seems like it would make more sense to just sell that display case as a limited run separately so people could buy it for all sorts of statues. Without seeing it in hand, it is hard for me to want to commit to something like that. I also think Midna's hair looks a little off when not lit up. This is a cool statue, but something about the execution isn't quite sitting well with me, especially not at that price point.

the case is specially made for it in terms of size and features so bit odd to sell seperately for other stuff, they should probably do some for random but i dont mind this one

I imagine a ton of their statues would fit in that case. Giving it its own edition size and having some kind of discount for those who order it along with Midna would make a lot of sense to me. I'm not the one in charge though. I may pass on this one completely. I'll have to think about it.

prob can fit yes but the leds are black lights atm and also there's likely a plug for the statue. could be changed a bit but atm that looks special for midna

It’s a cool offering for big fans of the character, but I’d hesitate to pony up for such a nice case unless the statue going inside it is one of the absolute gems in my collection.

I'll definitely get the regular version. The case is wonderful, but I don't want to display just one statue in a case and the others out. Great work though !

Anyone else have trouble getting Midna attached to the base? The pegs on mine seem to be 1-2 cm off.

Also, I jumped on this Exclusive pretty late and expected a high number on the ES. I am a bit confused that the base says, "Total Pieces Produced: 1700" and mine says 2373. Doesn't seem very exclusive to me.

I have an EX number even higher than that. It makes me wonder if the edition size was higher than listed, and they never changed it.

Mine was the definitive and out of 900 I have one in the last 20. The whole numbering system (by F4F) is kind of silly anyway -- more so than other companies who number their items. The earlier I preorder the higher the number I get, and the later I order somehow I miraculously get a low number.

Originally they were very good at coordinating the number to the time you preordered. I have #4 on my Twilight Princess series because I ordered Zant minutes after he was up, and then they fulfilled the 'continue in this series' after that. It was probably too hard to coordinate.

I think my Midna is #305. Normally I don't care about numbering, since it's arbitrarily applied by the factory and doesn't correspond to which one was made first and which was 2000th, but I was a little miffed they dropped the ball on keeping the numbering I was promised for the whole series. Again, the coordination must have been a pain. I had a damaged Midna and Wolf Link upon shipping, and they actually had to make me a new one from scratch and I waited over a year for it. I didn't request this, they just did it for me. I guess they didn't allocate replacements at the time.

(Although I should be MORE miffed that I lost out on thousands of legacy reward points when they moved to the new website and wasn't informed until after the claim on them expired...)
