sample or es or ex??? which is more sought after?

im looking to purchase a hulk pf, red, it a sample, so no number, is this worse, better then an es? is it more sought after then ex? its only 1 head?portrait tho, so should i pay more for this? same price? less? thankyou

Sample is not worth less or more..but with these hulks you need both heads, always go EX.. as you will always like one a little better, So worth it to me.

I could be wrong, but I thought only the green one had an EX with two heads.

Ex is the one I would pick. A decent coh is better than a sample reg imo.

99% of the time SS samples/artist proofs are EXs, just much rarer. I always prefer a Sample or AP over a regular numbered edition piece, unless the number is something significant.

Oh sorry didn't read the full writing before replying. So he was asking about buying the sample or not and not about buying a sample or a reg ex version? I'm confused now. But if it's about buying a sample or not? I would say yes it's better than buying a reg red version. More rare for sure. Isn't paints better on samples than production as well?

thankyou, yes, i bought the sample, i know the ex is more sought then the es, but price and choice comes into play, aftermarket ex is always more and if i dont care for the ex portrait, its a no brainer, i really nted to know about samples, shoul have worded it better and left out ex all together, but thanku for reply

Go for sample. Quality is usually better. I have a Blackcat LSB sample and the paint app is just phenomenal.
