Prime1 is pleased to announce that they will be doing characters from the D.C. Kingdom Come series. I m extremely excited as I have always been a fan of the story and the artist, Alex Ross.

the hush series has been in development for almost two years and has been one of the most requested story lines to see statues from. i can just about guarantee P1's hush line has nothing to do with the recently announced animated movie

My initial point was about properties that have ties to movies/tv shows, video games and anime. Just because Deadman is a statue based on Lee Bermejo's art doesn't mean P1 didn't fast track it over other characters that he is supposed to be doing because of Deadman's role in the Justice League Dark movie.

That's really what I'm getting at. Prime 1 is prioritizing other licenses over this one because they believe only comic readers are familiar with it. Every other property they have seems to be leap frogging over Kingdom Come.

Look at all the pieces they've been teasing and putting up for pre-order over the last year. What have we seen for Kingdom Come? A shot of Shazam's chest. Is there something else because I must've missed it.

BTW, if Shazam turns out to be the first for pre-order will that be another coincidence?

Marvel didn't take that from DC. Actually, DC made Fawcett Comics cease to publish Captain Marvel in the mid fifties, and by the time DC acquired the rights to the character early in the seventies, Marvel's own Captain Marvel was already a established character.

Sorry, that's my fault. Just got a bit frustrated seeing ----ing dinosaurs and video game characters while I'm waiting month after month to see a prototype from this line. Plus, not seeing anything at SDCC while the Hush line got another prototype reveal just poured salt in the wound.

These two lines were announced only months apart right? It wasn't like a year between Hush and Kingdom Come announcements, because that's what it feels like they are at right now. Wonderfest is this weekend so it's possible we could see something, but my expectations for that happening are very low at this point.

!:3 scale has been confirmed for Kingdom Come. P1 has an exhibition showing tonight that will run for 2 weeks. They are expected to show new pieces such as Cyborg Superman. I hope they give us a little tease of what's to come for this license.

It's like a DC version of his Marvels series but set in the future. Even if you're not a big DC fan, you should give it a read. The story is from the point of view of a preacher and The Spectre as they observe how the old superheroes/villains will deal with the new generation of metahumans.

Sure I'd prefer a smaller scale to save money. I have a whole bedroom dedicated to my hobby stuff and it's pretty empty since I only have 2 statues and a small bust. Also, the original 7 JL members by Ross is my favorite comic print of all time. I would get those 7 and be perfectly happy with nothing else.
