I think this is from the same (Nizzi) small-scale, overpriced, G1 line that includes Prime, his numerous variants and Megatron.

This is from the second line it seems. Kelvin has mentioned this is similar scale to the Bayformers.

This is nice and all, but I'm getting a DC Direct feeling where a company pumps out tons of versions of one or two characters. I mean at $99 a pop, 20 versions of Batman is one thing, but at 1K+ each, how many times can you dip into the Prime and Megatron well.

Also, my guess is Megatron is next in this line. Call me crazy, but I'm calling it now.

If you want other g1 characters then you have to go the XM and / or IA route. Prime 1 knows variants and rehashes more than SS. They are perfect for one another in that regard.

It’s the Optimus Jetfire armor from ROTF. If you bring up the movie concept art you can see the similarities in the crotch area. Can’t wait for this, also can’t wait to see the price tag seeing as P1 said it’s going to be way more expensive than WW on horse.
