A friend of mine is trying to sell it and i thought id buy it off of him. i cant seem to find anything about it except for the outrageous amount its going for on Ebay, just trying to get my foot under it before i pull the move.

Best depiction of the Balrogd to date. The new one is slightly larger, but the original is still the superior piece in my opinion. In case your wondering, those outrageous ebay prices aren't a temporary anomaly. This guy has been super expensive for ten plus years. If your getting a good price, and he's in good shape, grab it. There isn't any recently sold on ebay, that I could find. That makes it difficult evaluate what they're actually selling for right now. Based on what I've seen over the years, I'd say anything under $1500, for mint condition isn't a bad deal. Under a grand, and your getting a screaming deal.
