Cool! Where did you see it is returning? I saw a bunch of FB posts on Thundercracker, Ironhide and Skywarp, but must have missed this one.

This is a must have Starscream! Coronation pose just wasn't the best representation of the character IMO.

We get a tease from IA almost daily on FB (not that I'm complaining) but wish we knew an order in which these all planned to be released.

Guess do what I do set aside money for each piece. In 2005 to 2007 when I first started to collect, I just bought anything I liked, didn't give it any thought. that's how I got almost 200 statues. Then I just stayed with few lines and now just Robotech and TF. Now I am keeping just a few to get these..

I agree with Kelpie, that base is just not working for me. I'd rather he be standing on some light up energon cubes or a pile of vanquished autobot parts.

I am not a fan of the base Megatron head too big, but love Coronation SS, so I have to buy. Like Darth Maul with his cool cloak. Cool when he does not have his cloak , but so much cooler when he does wear his cloak.

So is the Standing Coronation Starscream also a confirmed piece? So there will be 2 versions of this Starscream to choose from? I also agree about the Megatron head but the Starscream looks amazing!

I think you'll find the coronation pieces will be swap outs for the standing statue, so you can display with or without.

Still hoping they review the base. That Megatron head won't work if he's standing next to Megatron.

Yeah... I'm still sceptical.

They've promised a lot of characters.

And while I'd be happy for that to be the case, I'll wait and see, especially since they are looking at adding other licenses which will mean production on TF's will slow down.

I'm sure something like that is exactly what it represents... however, like I said, if I want to put him next to the Megatron statue, I'm sure ol' Megs wouldn't be too pleased with Starscream walking on a statue of his likeness.

Megs was with Unicron, and returned as Galvatron, so would have to be a statue. The head does look like a stone statue. With it as a statue the head could be any size. I am sure Megs would have a huge statues of himself.

I think the problem is the picture looks too much like a Megs head. Needs to be like broken in half or some rock exposed so it's clear it's a fallen monument,

Yeah mate, I understand it's a stone statue of Megs... what I'm saying is, if I want to display megs and starscream together, it wouldn't make much sense that megatron would let Starscream stand on his broken statue.

Yes getting Devy, my most loved character. The piece that got me into collecting was Palisdaes Devastator in 2005.

They threw out the original Devy sculpt. That stinks now delayed his release and I am sure we are going to have to pay more.

Someone asked I.A. on Facebook about large scale line, I.A. wrote that from request that they are going to focus LOC scale. Cool I would take that as large scale line is canceled or at least they plan fewer pieces How many can they sell at $1,200 or more. They canceled large Skywarp. They could keep it going, but collectors like the LOC more.

That sucks but understandable. They should focus on the larger size for the combiners and dioramas and the LOC for the rest or we’ll all run out of display space.

At least I got a large Soundwave finally. 😁

Starscream on throne and this one with the Megs base are large scale like Soundwave. This one also has a low ES. Legacy of Cybertron scale is about 12 inches. I’m sure Kelpie or Craig mentioned all three seekers will get the 12 inch treatment. So price and size.

It is a nice statue but you can't have everything. A few reasons. When I first started out collecting I had a vision I was going for and it's kind of changed over the past year. I'm a big villain fan and want to focus on Decepticons primarily and I need room for the XM line so I'm trimming the fat. UM will be going up at some point as well because of this. Maybe even Optimus.

The other issue is IA not making up their mind about their sizes and now the materials of their statues. I really like the LOC size and hopefully they'll do UM and Rodimus in that size.

This is in no way me saying IA is poop or you can't have different sizes in your collection etc. This is just me putting a more solid focus on my collection. Plus the wife wants to move into a smaller house next year and I'm not lugging these heavy things around like Santa.

All hail Starscream!

Got him today after a weather delay yesterday. Absolutely gorgeous statue. Pose and paint are fantastic. The base is basic. The damaged Megatron statue head is sculpted well. I wasn't sure about this piece at first but the low ES convinced me. I now think this is their second best behind Soundwave.

The statue itself is nice and hefty. Definitely bulkier then IA Optimus. The paint is better then SS on Throne. The base however is questionable. The material doesn't seem like polyresin. It's hollowed out with molding pieces rolling around inside and very light. Playskool playset material. There's nothing saying what its made out of on the packing just what's listed on the order pages.

A definite keeper for fans. If you've been sitting on the fence I think it's worth it. I personally feel this statue personifies his character best. I've got the XM one on PO. As much as I like it I wish they would do something about the Megatron gun hand. I'll take some more pictures tomorrow in natural light. Any questions by all means ask.

A few more pictures in natural light. He does have a eye light up feature. Looks like a small watch battery but the switch is inside the head so you have to remove the head and side panel to play with it. Cumbersome.

Hollowed out polyresin. Starscream is heavy but the base is hollowed out to the extreme where it feels like plastic. I have pieces of molding rolling around in it. It's definitely lighter than SW, UM and Rodimus's bases. More in line with Optimus. I can actually pick the whole statue up and move it. Where I can't with the others mentioned. It's grown on me. I wasn't thrilled with the base during PO but it makes sense and the brown/grey colors make SS pop.
