It's not a reissue per se. If you compare the two, the first was the ESB version, this seems to be RotJ.

Good point man. I've got MR's Trooper Limited and eFX's Vader Limited, so I'll never want a bust because those two buckets are the best SW pieces I have, but yeah a Fett? Gonna have to wait for eFX anyway. Although, I have a feeling this new one from SS will be much better than the old one. Especially in the color, accuracy, and detail dept. Gonna start seeing a lot of those OGs Fett busts pop up for sale....starting now.

Guys, this is Boba. There was no doubt that Sideshow was going to revisit the old LSB or produce a slightly different from another movie. Its Boba, for gods sake. I have no problem with this. The problem lies with the "Limited edition". Ok, make a new Boba. Produce 10000 pieces but cap the ES. This is the thing that pisses us, LSB collectors and the ONLY company having this practice is Sideshow. ECC or PCS never produced an open ediiton LSB or even Sideshow never did it in the past. I have 50 (i cant remember, i will count them) LSBs from Sideshow, all of them with a set ES. The first one with an open ES was Darth Vader LSB (1st edition) and then some Iron man LSBs (7 and Iron Patriot come in my mind).

Its a rather new policy from Sideshow and it kills the whole LSB line. I wonder how Sideshow cant understand that she ultimately KILLS the entire line with the "Limited editions" LSBs. Its an unacceptable practice and this come from a TRUE admirer and follower of Sideshow. The way Sideshow handles her LSB line is UNACCEPTABLE. Produce 10000 pieces for the new Boba LSB, produce them in batches but CAP the ES, Igo!!!

Speaking of the Iron Man Life size busts. The first one they released the Mark II was limited to 100 only and I thought the Mark 3 was 500 but I could be wrong.

I got one am very very happy! I had sideshow try to send me the original years ago and every time it came in million pieces! And even though they had more they wouldn't help me out so we returned boba and janga busts! I believe only Star Wars life size busts we have are Darth Vader and C-3PO oh wait and Gen. Grievous too ;)

Sideshow and other companies want to sell and a B or C character (DC, Marvel - Star Wars) is probably a no-go nowadays with 900-1000doll for a new piece. Are we ever going to see a Lobo LSB for an example ? Pretty impossible for Sideshow to sell over 300 pieces @ 1000d a piece for non-A list characters.

That's why I'm mad Aquaman and Martian Manhunter busts won't get made. Wish they were made when these were $680 and had an es. The original seven in life size bust format would've been amazing. All I can hope now is Flash and Wonder Woman get made.

For Aquaman, there is a small possibility (after his solo movie is released and Aquaman as a character gets some "mainstream" love). Martian Manhunter LSB priced @ 1000dol would probably sell 80 pieces or less. NO WAY Sideshow would produce something so niche...@ 680dol there was a possibilty for morecollectors to buy a Martian Manhunter LSB in order to complete their DC line-up. With crazy prices today, no way, so ZERO chance... For Flash, i am not worried, he is going to be made along with a PFF (not the new atrocious Flash from Prime1 with that atrocious shiny and cheap looking 52 outfit)... Wonder Woman probably too, althought LSBs of women are a bit "weird" and dont sell too much.

Sideshow was too late to produce these LSBs and now the prices being asked from chinese factories, are rather outrageous. So only A-list characters will get the LSB treatment and its a pity, for us, the LSB collectors!

Yes, but Aquaman's collector's edition (regular one) is inferior vs the exclusive one (the additional portrait and hand are a MUST), it is a "mistake" Sideshow made. The regular edition is soooooo inferior vs the exclusive one and noone wants to buy a regular. The heavy discounts for the regular are easy to understand.

Aquaman is going to get a solo movie with Jason Momoa and his character will get some "mainstream" love. 90% of "new collectors" are ALL coming from movies. They dont know a sh..t about comics, my friend...Why is all this love for Wonder Woman lately? Its the "movie-push". Aquaman getting a solo movie and movie-hype will help his popularity so a LSB is a possibility. Martian Manhunter with an edition size around 70-80 pieces only, NO WAY. Too pricey and too "niche" as a character.

The more I look at these two images, the more I prefer the new one. On the original, the neck does look a little too long and perhaps out of proportion from that angle. It looks fine in the reviews I've seen of it though.

In that second image I posted the neck is clearly there. I think it depends on the viewing angle. The previous version had a giraffe neck relative to this one. I wonder if this piece has an articulating head.

From some angles, he does look a bit like he took off indoors. But I like it over all, it helps that Fett just naturally looks cool. There's way too much product to choose from currently however so I doubt I'll manage to actually buy one, I probably would if I could though.

I think with Boba Fett it depends on the angle. This image looks very similar in proportion to the bust.

With his costume in ESB, you can certainly see more of his neck. Maybe they used a larger helmet for Jedi?

Ok, now adjust the neck (a bit) and all set. I would like this to have a set ES (or a TBD), but Sideshow probably wont return to the old days of having set ES for LSBs. This will probably be my last PO from Sideshow regarding LSBs unless they stop the cr.p with "Limited editions".

At least when you complete the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th run and you ultimately stop producing a given LSB, PLEASE give us the number of LSBs you actually produced. A f.....g number !!! We dont want to have unnumbered chinese toys in our collections.

A final PRODUCTION number after 3-4 years of multiple runs would be a nice move from Sideshow.

Imo after seeing both in person, the paint job needs to be improved. The life size fett paint job was a lot better in comparison.

This is an impressive bust. Price tag is going to be interesting. Overpricing this because of the "glitz and glamour lighting effect" better not have an impact. Led diodes are literally cents. Wire and switches are cheap.

I'm guessing It'll be around the Vader Bust price, $1,200.
This bust is more intricate than the Stormie bust and seems to be larger than the Vader bust.

I was thinking in that range as well, "fair" range. But anything over and they pin an excuse on because of lighting. BS.

The size as noted during the feed was: 30" height, 12" depth and 20" width.

I wouldn't put it past them to do a third Vader bust. Seeing as how the other one is still available, probably not for a while.

But first boba/jango busts display very well together as the 2 sideshow pf with the same pose.

I think this is one of those cases where the first one is not diminished by the new one. Both are fantastic pieces!

Just got this in today! One of my favorite Star Wars characters i figured id make this my first LSB. They really did an excellent job on this! Packaging on this is huge! I felt bad for the UPS person that had to get it from my UPS store. It has the option to display with his tatters cloak or not. The cloak is plastic material but really makes this a long piece. I am not sure if i am going to keep it with the cloak on or not. The chest piece and on his jetpack have lightup features. I do not think the neck is articulated, i am afraid to move it :P
