Ten days ago Chad said the PO for Wonder Woman was coming in September, but I don't think that's going to happen. This was the Facebook update on Tweeterhead's page yesterday:

I would guess she comes apart at her waist area, so you slide her torso out of the legs and the clothing slides off and you slide the new one on and then put the torso back into the legs.

We had to push our Super Powers Wonder Woman gallery until next week, but it will be well worth it. Also, we're still working on a possible special announcement for our Wonder Woman television series Maquettes.

I own every Classic Batman and 66 Batman statue ever produced and I've had issues ranging from sloppy paint app's, air bubbles, poor casting issues and foot pegs that don't fit in the base properly, a good 35-40% of the time.

In some of those cases replacements weren't available, which is a pretty good indication I'm not the only one to have issues from time to time. Fortunately, Tweeterhead has always provided me with website credits to cover the costs of me having to pay a pro painter for repairs. So I can safely say that Tweeterhead will do whatever they can to make things right, should there be issues.

I'd say that's a prefect example of how no two customer experiences in regard to collectible companies are the same. But like I said Tweeterhead has always taken care of me after the fact, and that's why I continue to support them.

And I love the fact they not only cover licences that no one else is covering, they're actually willing to produce all the main characters within those licences.

From what I gather the one with the "WW" and Eagle head in your picture (The actual figure) is the standard. The classic Eagle (Exclusive) is the picture to the right of the action figure.

It's coming from the description on the site. They got the pic correct, but the product description on their site says "The Tweeterhead Exclusive is the ONLY place to get the interchangeable “Classic Eagle Bodice” as well as the regular edition WW Bodice."

They refer to the "Classic Eagle Bodice" and the "Regular Edition WW Bodice" as two separate things. The regular edition WW Bodice is the "Eagle Bodice".

It should've read "The Tweeterhead Exclusive is the ONLY place to get the interchangeable “Classic Bodice” as well as the regular edition WW Eagle Bodice."

Speaking for myself I’m glad it isn’t 1:4 scale. Not everything needs to be huge and at 1:6 scale it’s much more display friendly and easier to build a line of characters without breaking the bank.

Speaking for myself I’m glad it isn’t 1:4 scale. Not everything needs to be huge and at 1:6 scale it’s much more display friendly and easier to build a line of characters without breaking the bank.

Not trying to detract from this incredible piece, but please help clarify for me - listed on both Sideshow and Tweeterhead sites as being 13.5" atop the base. Seems like the base is at least 2.5", which would make WW 11" tall. Seems quite small for 1/6 scale. She's 6' tall, so at 1/6 she should be at least 12".

Again, not taking anything away from this, was just hoping for a true 1/6 representation from this line.

Looks like the final statue was sculpted by Jack Matthews so perhaps they had two sculptors doing the same piece and went with one over the other.

You know Hellboy, I try to support the smaller companies directly when I can. Same thing with my movie prints, if I can buy an AP directly from the artist I do. That money goes directly to them

That's what I thought at first from that picture. Maybe that was just a design piece for SDCC to show it off.

Since the newer picture shows the entire torso can be removed I would assume that is the switch out and not just the bodice. Otherwise what would be the need for the entire torso to come off as well?

My thought is the sword and shield does not go with this version of her. There are enough companies doing sword and shield WW. Don't get me wrong, I love a decent swap out but I'd never do it with this.

I would. I love Tweeterhead, but the WW and Superman (my main issue is it looks like a mini version of the Sideshow PF, which I did not love, although the head sculpt is much more preferable) have given me pause from going all-in on this line. Right now, Wonder Woman look like she's participating in a body building competition. I don't hate the pose, but I don't love it. I do think the design works with the previously intended switch out bullet blast cuffs. Something else needs to be going on with that pose. I think a sword/shield would help.

As I am not a Facebook/Twitter person - in case TH is monitoring this thread, (I have pre-ordered this statue) - I think without the ricocheting bullets the pose loses something. It becomes an awkward mix of 'muscle flexing' and 'bullets and bracers' - but her face is rather relaxed - intent but relaxed, which skews it towards the former.

I'm not sure a sword/shield combo would fix that, but I'm all for switch outs, if the ricochet bracers aren't options. Could something be done with the lasso instead, which seems more in keeping with the era of the costume? I know that would definitely make it very similar to the new SS, but they are such different scales and styles, I don't think that matters (and as I have a room full of WW statues, I can say that at some point, all poses repeat!)

I do like that Bombshell WW statue, but the ricochet effect shown at SDCC for this statue really got my attention. I'm still getting the TH one, but it would be cool to see her doing something with her arms. Maybe stretching the lasso between her hands?

While I greatly appreciate you guys going the extra mile to include more exclusive offerings on this piece I would hope going forward these kind of things could be announced & finalized at or before pre-ordering starts.

Speaking for myself I almost ordered through Sideshow to burn my reward points with them since I was satisfied with the regular version. Now that the exclusive will be changing I am very interested in it and as we all know the only way to get that is to order direct. Had I placed my order at Sideshow I'd lose my deposit by canceling. Tweeterhead's Wonder Woman is great....but i caved in and bought the DC Designer Series Wonder Woman. Very nice statue. And saved myself $150 in the process. I just hope the Tweeterhead Superman will fit in terms of scale with the DC Designer statues that I have.

Regular should be two pairs of arms with and without Bullets. Shield and Sword on Base.
