Super excited the more I look at this. Its a new company reminds me alot of Prime 1. This was shown at Wondercon. Should be 6-$800 based in their other pieces. They advertise low shipping. Trigun is a bucket list statue line for me. Been waiting forever for something like this. Cant wait to see more!

I messaged them about it and they do ship to the US. However, they couldn't quote, just said they will offer the best shipping price possible to the US. So it may be slightly on the steep end. I'm really looking forward to this line. It's about time someone did a Trigun 1:4 scale piece!

Good to know. BBTS isnt very cheap anymore with their international pieces. They marked up the other Figurama pieces 40% higher to accommodate. BBTS has simple returns though and Ive never had to deal with customs merch, so not sure who I'll go with yet.

Im jumping the gun a bit but I cant wait to see how theyd do a Wolfwood statue.

There's a great deal of characters they can pull from for this line. Here's to hoping it's priced well and has great success. Shipping costs would be the primary thing stopping me from ordering. Been bit once before and I'm a bit shy about international shipping now.

I want to say P1 has Trigun. I know they have Full Metal Alchemist as well as DBZ. They have A LOT of licenses so releases are slow. It gives Figurama a chance to carve themselves as the Go-To source for older anime. I like F4F, but they cave to the whinny crowds (they're the loudest) and some of their pieces feel like they're lacking something. At least anime wise.

Wouldnt say f4f caves- when your customer base pretty much only wants mario, zelda and sonic, sucks but thats what you have to make. Really theyre being quite bold trying to push into anime which from what I can get from the bulk of the club’s knowledge, doesnt extend back past a couple of years (that or its bubblegum princess stuff). Really hope it gets better for them. Want them to finish Champloo and OPM and cant wait to see Jet Black debut in the next month or so.

There was talk a while back about P1 getting Trigun. I think it was just a comment from Triguns creator saying he would be honored for them to do it. Nothing was ever confirmed. I like P1 but a lot of their decisions bother me. They make the tmnt movie characters modeled off the less popular masks, their destro is horrible on a weird tiny person staircase base, cobra commander is the less popular version, their sneak peek at Kenshiro from FOTNS didnt even look animated and was unrecognizable. I was down for their GITS line but Im kind of worried about it now.

I dont collect Berserk. Watched the anime, didnt like it. I hear the manga is good but Im not really into where the subject matter went. As far as looks go its alright but Im not crazy about the face.

Figurama does remind me a bit of P1 in that they go big, no plain bases.

Price is $755 about what I expected. Theyre showing two heads- no specifics. One with glasses and one without. Not sure if its actually two heads or the glasses are removeable.

If its two heads the one without glasses is my only disappointment. Its exactly the same otherwise so its pretty much redundant. Wish they would have made it a goofy head eating a donut or some such. The face is well done, feels a bit shorter than it should be but also feels like a more realistic take on Vash. This is so ordered.

Found out its a single head, the glasses are removeable. Yeah Im more Trigun than Hellsing, but Im sure it’ll be awesome. Their Devilman production piece came out amazingly well too.

You would figure that with licensor approval he would be up to spec. The face thing might be a camera angle thing, not a deal breaker for me though. I truly like how this came out. Out of nowhere for me, very glad I found them, one of my all time favorite characters!

Some people are triggered if one hair is out of place or the hairline is slightly off center. Day 1 for me as well. Really looking forward to what they'll have next for this line. I'm hoping Nails, Wolfwood would be a good match too ( a la Koto set from the last movie).

Single payment I think you have to pay all $755 up front. They have up to 6 month payment plan which is $75 down payment and then 6 monthly payments of $113.

Maybe a couple reasons. BBTS is easy to deal with returns. Also if youre guesstimating shipping to be $350ish anyway its nice to know all your fees up front, no import duties.

That said most people are just Dumb. Cant tell you how many ebay auctions I’ve watched go way higher than retail and higher even than other “buy it now” auctions for the same item. Some people too dont know many statue companies so they have no idea what companies are releasing and no idea where else to shop. Probably why they jump on the group pages asking companies to make something that half a dozen companies are already making. Gets so annoying.

I agree with you. I'm expecting shipping and tax to be a few hundred, so it should be similar to BBTS's price. BBTS is very good with returns and replacements should you end up with a damaged piece.

They’re concentrating on the Ragnarock: Thor and Devil Man releases before Trigun.

I seem to recall Thor and Devilman target dates were Jan/Feb, so seems like ship dates are a good 6-7 months off atm. Vash was set for Sept so he could be as late as next March or April if nothing changes.

These are their first statue releases though so theyre probably working out a lot of kinks and getting their system going. They did say they would show some behind the scenes for Vash but there hasnt been anything yet so I’m assuming he’s not very close to being done.

He arrived!!! Holy cow what a great piece!!! He’s HUGE! I mean I knew he was going to be big, but damn... definitely must be admired in person. No matter of video or pics will do him justice (to the quality and the scale). Details to the Vash, the environment and the effects are very well done. There’s a lot of pieces to him, but he comes with instructions. Nothing horrible once you get going, but you do need to lay them all out before hand so you can identify them. Very happy with my first and definitely not my last Figurama Statue!
