Aspen, JSC Mermaid, or Gallevarbe?

Hey SF collectors, I am wondering if anyone has opinions on which of the three upcoming statues from Sideshow would be best? I know they all have pluses and minuses but I am having difficulty deciding. I wanted a mermaid/ water type character and originally was going for the new Gallevarbe from Court of the Dead until I started seeing the photos of the JSC little Mermaid and Aspen Matthews from NYCC. Either way I love to hear thoughts!

For me ....I'll take Aspen Matthews and Ariel!

If I was implicitly limited to just one, I would choose the JSC Little Mermaid, followed by Aspen and Gallevarbe last.

These are the only LICENSED JSC Fairytale pieces we will ever see from any company, and IMO, they NAILED it.

So if your looking for a mermaid/water type of character, JSC's Mermaid would be the easy choice IMO. While Aspen has some water element to is, it has no resemblance to a mermaid type of character. So I would say go with JSC's Mermaid. Its looks like its going to be a beautiful statue. And the styles for Gallevarbe and JSC's mermaid really couldn't be more different. Gallevarbe is very serious and color wise is very dark and bleak. JSC's Mermaid is brighter and much more colorful and playful. So if your having trouble choosing bwteen those 2, go with the style you like more.

If it wasn't for my 100% ban on all Aspen products, I guarantee I would own all 3. All 3 are absolutely beautiful pieces. As is, I will settle for JSC's Mermaid and Gallevarbe.

And what an amazing line its turned out to be. I had absolutely no interest in the CotD line initially. Zip, nodda, none, but its now its one of the most exciting lines in the entire statue market, at least IMO.

I'm only getting one and it's the Little Mermaid. But that's because I love the concept of pinup fairy tale characters.

That said, given that appeal, in addittion to the popularity of J Scott Campbell's art, and the exceptional execution of that source material in this case, I think it will also be a piece that appreciates significantly in value. So if that kind of thing is important to you...
