Hi,
Hoping someone can help me here or put my mind at rest. A few years ago I bought the Sideshow T800 life size endo V2.0. I cleaned up the battle damage but lately I have noticed that the statue seems to lean to the left when looking at it. I'm not sure if its always been that way and that's the design and pose of this statue but was worrying me so I removed the arms and head to reduce some weight. From the hipe there is a slight lean to the left? is this normal? if so Ill put everything back together but if not can I fix somehow? was thinking of putting a small spacer under his right foot to help level the hip joint? It does lean slightly slightly forward but from the pics of others I have seen this looks normal, but the left lean I wasn't sure? I have tried to insert pics into this but they are not working for some reason

Thanks so much
Steve

Is it always displayed in front of a garage door? Depending on the climate where you are that could be the reason. I have a similar door and it gets hot in the summer months.

yes it is near the garage door. maybe that's it. I will move it to a cooler place. that being said do I need to put something under the right foot to level it or can I leave? I'm happy to leave but not if this is causing more stress on the statue and risk of a limb breaking or cracking etc

That is a major design flaw with the 2.0s, you are not the only one having those issues. I saw a few on the freaks board too. It was the main reason I didn't buy one.

Definitely put something under the right foot to correct the lean. Have someone brace the statue as you lean it and see how much space is between the foot and base.

The good thing is the base being a ground environment so whatever spacer you put under the foot you can paint and "sculpt" it to look like the ground.

SS really getting a bad reputation with leaning... I wonder if they're leaving it up to the factories to do the engineering on their statues. It kind of seems like it..

Putting a spacer under his foot will probably help some, but it really depends on where the leaning is taking place on the statue, if its like above his knee then putting a spacer under his foot won't help for long.
