For those that have more money than sense. The first 1/4 One Piece piece is Law.

https://tsume-art.com/en/shop/trafalgar-d-water-law-hqs-plus-by-tsume

Up for order now. 999 Euro and Ltd to 1800.

I really don't see what warrants this piece being 999 Euro.

Compare this to the Ultimate Guyver ( which came with 2 torsos, 2 heads, switch out arms etc etc...) from Prime 1 at $999 or Guts at the same price...even compare it to Vegeta and this seems dull in comparison.

I really feel i got out of Tsume at the right time... because their pieces are becoming stale looking compared to what custom pieces are offering and their prices are just insane.

Also every statue is listed for Q1 of 2020. It's nice to see them being realistic but you'd think with these high prices they could at least get them done quicker but no.

Not even low edition sizes with this at 1800 and Krillin at 2000 and Gaara also at 1800.

When F4F are keeping their prices so low and getting the majority of pieces out in 9-15 months it just reaffirms my decisions.

Talk about price gouging. No way this Statue warrant's that kind of money. It's sad but as a company like Tsume who's popularity is constantly rising it's going to sell out like all their pieces.

Yup. I'm thinking of searching out the GK scene at this point. SO many options.

The addition of scales is just pissing me off. This one isn't even dynamic or interesting like the Broly or Natsu pieces.

statue looks quality but it is way overpriced and not in scale with the others. tsume are literally losing their ----.

happy I went for customs in regards to one piece.

Even if it was free shipping with that price it’s too much.

Good they dropped it but Cyril saying it’s due to the factory being cheaper now to produce is bull haha. So many people complained and I’m glad.

Yeah I don't want to default to a skeptical bastard and I love Tsume but it's really hard not to think the reason is BS.

The fact they can drop this by 200 euro and still make money is more than enough for me to reaffirm everything i believe about their ridiculous pricing.

Recast prices should give you a good indication how wide is their profit margin, actually cyril doesn't need to care if this sells out. He has so many pending orders to fulfill this will not affect him in the grand scheme of things.

He could have saved face and priced the next hqs at a more reasonable pricing instead of backpeddling and creating excuses for himself. But he chose to listen to the fans.

On a more unrelated note, shipping prices have dropped by about 30%. The quote is still ridiculous but not as ridiculous as before.

Pretty much. I've never known a statue company to adjust their price by that much after already announcing it or even just speculating it.

Sorry to hear you’re disappointed with it. Overall it’s really well done and a great rendition of Law. Not what anyone was expecting, I’m sure, but very well done.

If this piece was priced 2/3 what its going for, nbdy would be complaining. I think its a nice representation, just totally not worth it.

Yep tally if this was more in line with 1/4 prices i'd have gone for this no problem.

I like the pose and the base and if this was more towards 500-600 euro i'd have definitely gone for it.

But even at 800 euro.....that's another Prime 1 piece which is offering a hell of a lot more.

Does anyone know what direction they are going with this 1/4 line?
