No price discounts or rewards... might as well order everything through sideshow. They have cheaper shipping rates too because if the volume they ship.

Rest assured we’re preparing an incentive program for direct purchasers with add-ons that will be highly desirable to collectors and available nowhere else.

Stay tuned!

Will there be rewards for amount spent in addition to the exclusive add ons? Similar to Sideshow?

Yes, for it to be implemented, they seem to already know what they are going to do so it should be an easy answer.

Ok, this piece is going well with my 1:1 bust.

You can have pretty much the whole life cycle now. Egg, hatchling, small babies with the "crash" raptors, large "baby" (more of a juvenile) with blue, then the full adult bust. Who could have imagined just a coupe years ago.

As we migrate to our new website we will be looking at customers that have been with us since the beginning and we will be offering incentive programs.

I hope to get back to the pre-order discounts and we have a few big items coming that I will discount for the first 30 days.

Also if you bough the JP goggles we ARE including a base and upgrades to be announced soon. If you wanted the ultimate Goggles, get ready because they are coming and won't cost you a dime more....

But those that have delayed getting them, will be disappointed when they sell out.

If you are on the fence do NOT delay, once Sideshow turns in their numbers we may be sold out!

Update: I emailed Chronicle the other day with concerns about the weird emails we’ve been getting from “lawyers”. They said not to worry and all their products are still being developed. Then they gave me release windows for my preorders. The hatchling is slated and is on time for q3, which means sometime in the next month!

Does anyone know what changes were made since it was first revealed? At some point Chronicle said the baby could be removed from the egg for cosplay etc. Because of that, some slight alterations were made to the broken egg shell part to make it larger so that the baby could be removed. If someone who owns this could confirm. I personally prefer the baby not be removable and like the first sample they revealed with no modifications.

BladeoftheMoon

I give it a 3/5 myself. Comparing it to the film the teeth aren't exactly right and the eyes are super wide. Looks more posed for a display than a natural hatching animal like in the film.

Maybe I'm just being super nitpicky, I've seen a lot of artists tackle this little guy over the years though.

I received mine yesterday and can confirm that the Raptor cannot be removed from the egg. I actually prefer this so it doesn’t accidentally fall out if I carry the egg around haha. I really like this piece and think Chronicle did a great job with the paint and sculpt. Very happy with it.

They made changes and confirmed it would be removable from the BASE for cosplay. They never said anything about the baby being removable to the best of my recollection.

Lol bro, im a huge defender of everything SW. Is the factory that messed up. CC did an amazing job with the proto and clearly did the jaw right. But you are legally blind if you dont see this. The red parts need to be metting each other. Here's some visual aid for you. Ohh and i have pretty much every maquette available out there. And CC factory messed up in pretty much all of them. Specially the pachy's neck seam. Is a damn dissaster.

As the owner of that photo and hatchling, I can say the entire sculpt is great and looks natural. This is just one angle I used because it had the best lighting at the time.

It doesn't look 100% like the film version that's for sure. Made from SWS assets can mean a lot of things. Like with the Raptor bust, it was really nice but it does have issues being made from a cast of an animatronic skin. I have one myself because it's the closest we have so far.

A lot of artist's have tried making baby raptors, some with more success than others. I'm pretty sure I know the artist who made the one for CC or she said she did anyway. It had some flaws back when it was being sculpted. I'd say it's about 90% alright, I would have liked the exact pose and such from the film though we see here : https://i.ytimg.com/vi/JhpmzQ2lgkM/maxresdefault.jpg

Ah, ok that mouth/dentition is certainly one of the main issues I have with it. Just improper spacing/size. I think it looks fine as a statue of a prop piece, I just would have preferred a more natural pose.
