I think it looks ok... The one they had out had 2 of the claws broken off... He kind of looks like he is going to fall into the wooden crates....
Wonder if Rick Force did this one, looks similar to the Wolvie on Skulls...

Hmmm... I don't know. This one doesn't do much for me.
Not only is the base kind of blah (Wolverine vs the crates, not very exciting) but I think the left arm turned back like takes away from the piece. Wouldn't it look better turned forward as if he's going to follow through with the left? Aside from the base and pose, the character itself looks pretty good.
Just my two cents.

are the claws suppose to be detachable or he supposedly loss it during his fight with the crate?
and why is namors trident all bent?

When is this coming out? Did I miss it in Previews?
looks good, is it in scale with the bowen stuff?
Hmmm. Looks ok, I'll have to see pics of the final product before I can really say much. The crates are a little blah. I'm not much of a fan of the yellow costume, though I do have the Wolvie on skulls statue on its way to me. Not sure I need another yellow-costume Wolvie statue.

How many Wolverines do you need? Except for you Wolverine1. Already have original BD, SS Dio, and Moore Wolvie in tunnel. Gonna get the new BD one probably. And I really hope SS does a premium format Tiger Stripe. The Wolverine on Skulls actually looks pretty good.

Nice action pose.
I like the yellow/blue costume.
Not sure about the crates.
Would like the claws better if they were curved spikes (round) rather than the "blade" look.

I kinda like this one, but I would rather get the wolvie brood statue. I have 2 villafane logans, 1 wolvie on skulls, and want to get wolve vs sabertooth ss. Do I need one vs a crate?

It seems Diamond is in a rush to display stuff at shows, I know my lcs guy went to baltimore and they had some pieces of stuff just glued together for the show, I am sure its gets broken in all the travels though...

really bad business to do that
really bad business to do that
Disagree with you there. I work for a toy company and we put out hand made prototype samples for buyers to see. The trade knows that there will improvements from the hand made samples, which are extremely fragile, to the finished off-tool product.
If they did not display anything at all they may lose some potential sales when the time for actual orders comes around. Talk is cheap, you can say you will make a Wolverine statue...but you need to show the goods at these industry events so that retailers know it will really happen at the time you claim it will. Also, they send a clear message to the competition that they are doing this character in this pose. Whether that encourages copying or not, who knows.

I agree with you to a certain extent but first impressions last as they say. It wouldn't have been a big deal to super glue them back on.

Its... ok.
The pose I beleive is based on the X-men cover where Wolverine is fighting the Hellfire Club's security goons. Can't remember issue number, but it was during Byrne run.
