Tweeterhead is trying to gauge forum interest in what to make for the Black/Grey version of Batman. This is a bit complicated due to the cape's size/weight.

Do you want:

1) one head, straight up re-paint of the blue/grey head?
2) one head, different cowl with shorter ears?
3) both? (Note: You'll notice seams if statue comes with COH.)

This is what the re-paint version would look like. We haven't been shown renders/pix of a cowl with shorter ears yet.

Here's a pic of the DC Collectibles BvS Batfleck statue, which is also 1/6-scale and has short ears. I'm posting this just to give everyone a visual sense of what short ears might look like.

Just thought of something -- it might be easier to make switch-out Batears instead. :D

Me....if there is a different head sculpt. If not, then Black/gray.

No seams. I hate seams.

Agreed, no seams please.

I’m ok with both having the same headsculpt. I’d like to see the black come with a grappling gun hand though.

The seams really wouldn't bother me and I'm a sucker for switch out heads, so my primary vote is both.

But if it's only 1 head, I'd prefer for it to be different from the blue/gray version as I'd most likely buy both.

Question is the variant black and grey exclusive to tweeterhead or will it be available at bigbadtoystore like the others. Also what is tweeterhead exclusive to this statue or are they not making an regular version.

For me there is not enough in this piece to want two Batman’s. I’ll save money for Robin

I did pre-order the Blue and Gray version and afterwards I kept going back and forth on whether I made the right decision. Even though this is yet another fantastic Tweeterhead statue, I am glad I did go with the blue and gray Batman.

Robin's colors don't match anyway, so you should base your decision on which version of Batgirl TH makes. :thumbs2:

Hmm, strange. I thought I would like the black/grey better but after further review, I think I like the blue/grey better.

But the good thing is you have the option!

I feel exactly the opposite way. I didn't expect to like this so much.

Is black/grey only available though Tweeterhead's site?

The one that will be exclusive to TH's site comes with two head (short and long ears), the regular hand and the batarang hand.

The regular version only has the short ears head and the regular hand

So is the additional head attached to it's own cape? The proto does not have any seems that I can see to remove the head.

That would mean either the box is very big, or the COH is shipped in its own box. :jawd:

Head will have a seam in the back. Pop off head. The cape is attached to the torso and legs. The box will be big

I get what you guys are saying about Robin having silky legs ...but I don't think I'd like Robin with hairy legs either.

The silky style is the way forward. One of those times were the design was TRULY for the comic book page and not the real world!
